Specialties
We specialize in Japanese ramen made with maru-dori (whole chicken) broth, which yields a healthier soup with light, sophisticated flavors.
History
Established in 2013.
Kayo Asazu, co-owner of Austin’s Komé Sushi Kitchen realized her dream of opening a ramen restaurant in spring of 2013. The restaurant was established following a suggestion from Alamo Drafthouse CEO Tim League, a ramen fan looking for a noodle fix closer to downtown. Daruma has been serving delicious bowls of ramen in the heart of Austin ever since.
