Meet the Business Owner

Bill P.

Business Owner

Bill began his printing career at the tender age of 7 in the hills of central Pennsylvania near Washington PA. By his teenage years, he had already mastered most of the equipment in his grandfather’s shop, who was teaching Bill the printing business. Bill took off for Texas when he was just 18 years old and landed in Austin in 1984. He was the first employee in the services department for a huge Federal Bank that had decided to create and run their own in-​house print shop. Bill was put in charge and excelled in that capacity, being promoted to Director level. During that time, Bill also teamed up with his brother and formed a printing company that was selected to print the Austin B2B Real Estate Publication called PRED. Bill had to devote more and more time to his side business print shop and finally got out of the large banking industry and ran his own print shop. Naming it after his grandfather, Charles W Phillips, thus CWPrint Services Inc. was born.
