I’ve stayed at this location a couple of times. Always receive exceptional treatment from all of the staff. The people that work in the Bistro are hands down the best. Always have a clean and comfortable room. I will be returning again.

When making my short trips to Austin, I always pick this place. The first time I stayed here I was impressed, plus I joined the rewards program. Several years later, this place has been nicely renovated! New carpet, paint, & furniture. The lobby is nicely renovated with a restaurant and bar. The pay-​for breakfast is always good! You have lots to choose from, before they had a buffet, but I prefer the freshly made food. If you don’t feel like eating here, there is a Waffle House in front, a 7 – 11 next to the Waffle House, a Subway, Tex-​Mex eatery called Javi’s, and a Starbucks, all on the other side of 7 – 11, in a small shopping center. All of this is walking distance and up Ben White, like a 6 min walk is a Denny’s. You also have a free shuttle to and from the airport and the staff is always friendly! I’ll post breakfast pics tomorrow!

Really nice, friendly, clean hotel that is a little out of the way of the craziness of downtown Austin. Everything you expect in a hotel, clean comfortable bed. Fresh linens and towels everyday, engaging and courteous front desk, and a small kitchen on the ground floor serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And a small on the go smoothie and drink fridge. Price is pretty much the same as everywhere else. Only negative I see is the shuttle is only to the airport, would be very beneficial to them if they would utilize it in different capacities.

Nice, clean, updated, and quiet. There’s not much more you can ask for when traveling for work. This hotel is very close to the airport and offers a lot of amenities like a gym, café, and small bar area. The only real downside is that it’s near the airport and not much else. But I did take a walk to Javi’s, a Mexican restaurant a couple doors down and that was solid.
Bonus points for the free fridge and microwave in every room. Sometimes it’s nice to shop when you’re on an extended trip and keep food in your room.
I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I recently got a hotel block at this hotel for our wedding. Austin was out of town for all of our guest so we chose a hotel location close to the airport for convenience. The free hotel/​airport shuttle service worked out great! I wish the shuttles had a downtown route too. But, it was easy to catch a cab/​über into downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. The coordinator of the hotel block was very helpful and answered all of my questions very quickly. There is a nice pool/​gym area. The rooms are clean. The hotel is newly renevated. They recently went under a lot of construction, which when we stayed was not 100% cleaned up outside, but that is to be expected when going under renovation.

Had a horrible experience. Came in after a red eye with a confirmed pre paid booking only to be told that they are moving me to another hotel as they are sold out and there was systematic glitches. Made me wait for a long time for a taxi. Did not even offer a courtesy water. While I was waiting one guest checked only and complained about how the water was so cold in the shower.

Nicer on the inside than it looks on the outside. Close to the airport with nice enough rooms and solid amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful.
2 not so great things:
The elevator isn’t air conditioned, so you basically get to spend time in a moving sauna on your way to and from your room.
I also needed a shuttle back from the airport after I dropped my car off. I called the number they gave me twice, plus the hotel main number 3 times. No answer. Ended up taking a $ 25 cab ride back to the hotel. On the plus side, they reimbursed me for the trip and were very apologetic, so that was great.
The shuttle ride to the airport for my actual flight was no problem.
I don’t think they serve free breakfast (maybe they do and I didn’t see it). It looks like they have a nice café/​bar thing though, but I didn’t try it.

This is a solid hotel, and for people who are flying in or out of Austin I highly recommend it. The outside of the hotel doesn’t inspire confidence and you get the feeling that this could be a plain jane run of the mill airport hotel. Once you walk inside you discover a totally redone state of the art hotel with all the of amenities you could ask for. Spacious showers with tile floors and a comfortable bed. I know some people were giving this place low ratings for having construction going on but from what I saw they were totally finished. The only weird «quirk» is that ice is only located on the 2nd and 4th floor which made it frustrating as I was staying on the 5th floor. The rooms are well furnished and the hotel employees are responsive to guests needs, once again I highly recommend this hotel :)

Unbelievably bad. I’m an elite member. Checked into room to find bathroom not cleaned. Called and told them. Came back at night and still not cleaned. Manager called and said cleaning crew is gone what did I want done. Sounded like she suggested I clean it. Told her to come clean it. She came but barely cleaned. Wife went to use it and cleaning did not include the toilet, did not even lift the toilet, it was full of shit and clogged. Went down and told them to get back up and clean it. It’s past midnight. So she makes her staff go up with her and clean it too.
Management here is the problem. No inspection no customer service and she thinks she is above cleaning a room.
Worst courtyard I’ve been to. Unbelievable.

This hotel near the airport is run by a small crew of friendly people. The same folks take turns driving the shuttle van, serving drinks at the bar, and running the front desk. It’s odd for a name brand motel but it works because they do each job professionally. The building is currently being renovated though that (thankfully!) did not affect my stay. Post-​renovation the rooms are the new Courtyard standard: a bit on the small side but well furnished.

I primarily stay at Marriott properties and this Coutyard, with or without construction, is below average in my book.
The lobby bartender was openly eating takeout mexican at 8:30 when I had strolled downstairs to have a drink and dinner (which ended up being somewhere else).
The sad excuse for a dinner menu highlighted a «summer salad» in December.
The manager sent me a pre-​stay email welcoming me to the hotel and letting me know that construction would be occurring but only between the hours of 8:30 — 5:30. The night I checked in it sounded like a bowling alley above my room from 5:00 — 8:15 PM.
The management did not leave me a message or note informing me that a package had arrived for me and basically had no sense of awareness or care for customer service.

This is another good location, close to the airport and next to a Waffle House. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled roooms. 5th floor has the best view. The staff were very helpful and professional. Just what you would expect at a JW Marriott. Above average for this level hotel. By the way breakfast buffet was included.

Jen, Shoshanna and the entire staff at this property are top notch. As an often weary traveller I actually look forward to staying at this location. Rooms are clean and the food is terrific. Jen runs the bar and always has a smile and some kind words to share. She is a tremendous asset to this property and I hope she is treated as such. Last trip,
President Obama was in Austin and completely screwed up our flight/​travel plans due to the endless traffic jams. All it took was one call to get myself and team rebooked, no hassle or drama.
Even though the President cost my company an extra $ 2k for disrupted travel the courtyard team made it bearable.
Fwiw, I’m pretty sure the people of Austin would have been better served had our president been at the border to see that disaster in progress, instead he choose to jam everyone up in endless road closures and lost productivity. Sure the courtyard got us for another night, so I guess there’s that : — (.
If you need a place to stay in Austin you can’t go wrong with this place.

Great place to stay if you are wanting to be near the airport. The shuttle service makes the trip to/​from airport very convenient. The hotel does have a restaurant but there is also a Waffle House just a short walk away.

Wonderful place to stay for the night. Clean rooms and amazing staff. Staff was pleasent and willing to help at anytime. Location was fine as we only drove from San Antonio to Austin, for the George Strait concert. Was even better that my Tia who has worked for the Marriott for 20yrs was also able to get the employee discount rate for my mom.

This was a great hotel to stay at. I reserved two nights from
for $ 140 before tax. We stayed here to booze at 6th street and to float new braunfels.
The staff there was pretty helpful. The best part was their fruit infused water at the front. We raided it several times.
This hotel has a pool. Didn’t bother with it. No time.
Also, there is a waffle house and a Denny’s next door. And if you can’t eat at all there’s a Starbucks too. All of these great things are in walking distance from the hotel; in case you’re still hungover and drunk from last night.
Oh and there is a bar in the lobby. It has some strange hours. They close early on the weekend. Oh and i saw some guy try to steal beer from the fridge they were able to take two but the lady at the front desk probably billed their room. Couldn’t hear what she said but she went and locked the fridge and beer taps.
I’m glad they got caught because my friend had to pay for his two.

A solid 3-​star hotel, no more, no less. The room was clean and the front desk staff are friendly. The hotel is a two minute drive from the airport, which is the only reason anyway stays in this part of Austin. That being said, the hotel was not especially stylish, the rooms are small, and the beds are definitively less comfortable than the beds at the totally comparable Hampton Inn next door. The cable channels are also significantly more limited than the comparable Hampton/​Hilton hotels in the area.
Finally, I like to leave my window open at night so I can wake up when the sun comes up, unfortunately there was no way I could go to sleep with this spotlight pointing in my window:

What a nice little hotel.
I’ve stayed at other Courtyards, but this one is seriously special. $ 3 draft beers in the lobby with the nicest bartender I think I’ve ever encountered (Matt, I want to go out drinking with you. Seriously.)
The rooms are clean. The air conditioners have wall-​mounted thermostats. The staff are friendly. The food is surprisingly good.
My only qualm was the fact that I had a used dirty coffee cup in my room when I checked in. Hopefully that was an oversight, but it was kind of gross.
Their internet works. Everywhere. In. The. Hotel.
Let me repeat that. The Internet in this hotel works everywhere. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel that didn’t have frustratingly-​unreliable wifi. This one’s got fast, reliable, FREE internet.
Great hotel. I just wish it was closer to downtown, rather than the airport. It’s also weird that the hotel has one side that faces the beautiful Austin skyline, yet there’s a stairwell on that side, so no rooms face it. Seems like kind of a sad oversight in the design of the building.
And since I know there will be at least one person on here wondering: No, you can’t hear the airplanes in the rooms. Your room will not shake when a plane lands. It’s close to the airport, but well noise-​proofed. You’ll sleep well.
The waffle house next door is an excellent perk.
