Scammers! They came to my house and the dog bit him! Good dog Coco! Bunch of losers will call your cell phone, send u emails. Toss that crap in the trash or get a dog!

They try to circumvent the law by saying that they are offering free gifts. But this is pure solicitation with extremely poor morals. After requested to be removed from their contact list, I have had repeated calls from all the companies they represent. These people are awful human beings that don’t care about morals and values.

Just received this notice on my door saying «sorry we missed you 2^nd-​attempt «I have surveillance cameras on the property. There was never a package in the carriers hand. Not to mention they’re driving their personal vehicle after further researching and looking into the company. I find out it’s a marketing Company trying to get your personal number and email to create a marketing list so they can sell for profit and US at the end get spammed with emails and multiple calls A day trying to sell us whatever you’re trying to sell.

These scamming assholes just stopped by my house in Tucson, AZ. Left a delivery notice similar to what others have posted. I’m filing a BBB complaint.

Same as everyone else has already said. My card said Total Home Distribution. I wasn’t going to call them back anyways, but it was reassuring to look on here and find out its definitely some sort of scam.

Going under the name Total Home Distribution in the Mesa, AZ area. If you go to the www address printed in tiny print on the card it leads you to a page that, surprise, surprise, tries to extract personal information yet again. Losers.

Now this company is going as Total Home. They have left several flyers on my door each time I was home and get this… They tried to open my front door before leaving the flyer as I was close to the door and it made me jump. I went to grab my phone and run out to take photos but they drove off in a red trailblazer. This is definitely a scam and my question is why are they trying to open my door. Next time they may not like what is on the other end. BEWARE!

Live in North DFW and got one of these notices on door ¹⁰⁄₁₇. They’re now going by Total Home Delivery Services but it’s still the same company as indicated by the fact that if you bring up their «privacy agreement» it clearly says GeoTrek, Compass, and Total Home Delivery are all the same entity. I reported it to police and advise others to do the same as I do not at all appreciate people coming onto my property without a legitimate reason for being there.

This company is currently operating in the Salt Lake City area as Total Home Delivery; thanks for the heads up, Unilocalers! The only person I contacted was the local police. :)

I just received one of these notices in Wylie. They are now going by the name of GeoTrek.
I have reported them to the local Police and I would encourage everyone else to do the same. Here is a link talking about what they do:

We recently bought a house in Maricopa, and have had two of the «we were unable to deliver — call this number» notices left on our door, along with a «Welcome Home» brochure. Not only were we not expecting a package, but we were home both times, and no one knocked or rang the bell.
When this first occurred I was in the living room and heard the card & brochure being placed in the door jamb, by the time I got to the door a man was getting in a grey car and driving off. He clearly saw me but made no attempt to stop.
I have not, and will not, call their number as I don’t know what their game is: maybe it is a scam, or just another marketing ploy but whatever it is, it is unethical as they are not attempting to deliver anything.
I have notified the Maricopa Police department, and the HOA.

This morning, I too received the notice that this was the third and final attempt. Okay, when were the other two attempts. I had never received a card before today. The door bell never rand, no one knocked on the door.
My brother was walking io the stairs when he saw the card being slipped under the door. By the ti, e he bent down to see what it was, the guy was already gone.
We called the number a couple if times, but were put on hold and then we would get disconnected.
We decided to google the consign and their phone number, and I am so glad we did. We are reporting them to the local Sheriffs office. Whether it is a scam or robbers casing the neighborhood they need to be reported.

When we called, they wanted our confirmation code and our name. They wouldn’t tell us anything except that they were a delivery company and without our name they refused to tell us what types of things they delivered.
It seemed like they just wanted all sort of personal information.

SCAM — «Delivered by Compass»
New home in the Falconhead area. Seems like they are targeting new homes.
Immediately recognized a SCAM since I never ordered anything.
They left that note on our front door, my wife called and was put on hold for 30min.
1^st thought was Compass Bank because of name/​logo.
If I’d be Compass Bank, i would go after these scamers.
They gave two numbers to call and assigned me this stupid ID # xxxx-​xxxx

These robbers are casing neighborhoods and looking for homes to rob.
— Report these «door tags» to your local law enforcement agencies, and be sure to alert your neighbors.
— Do not call the phone numbers listed on this tag.
— Do not give these people the «confirmation number».
— Do not give these people any personal information.
They are looking for homes to rob. some people happened to be at home while one of these tags was being placed on the door. The person leaving the tag tried opening the door which was locked. They were heard them trying to open the door, and when you go to look outside, you can see them RUNNING back to their car. This is a scam. If you received a doortag, your home is being cased by criminals. BEWARE.

Glad I checked out Unilocal so I didn’t waste my time calling! Guy comes up to the door, slips this little card in our door saying they tried to deliver a package, but no knock or anything. The second time I literally saw him walk up empty handed, slip the card in the side of our door, and walk away.
Scammers.

I agree this is a scam for a solicitation. They said they are holding a welcome packet for GE home warranty. Do these people think we are idiots. Your home warranty is covered under the builder and the appliances would be covered by the warranty with the manufacture directly.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING BACK. I hung up after being on hold 14 mins. Thank you fellow Unilocalers for confirming this was a scam you saved me additional time I would have spend arguing with this fake company.

Wow. A new low for deceptive business practices.
My husband found the «We missed ya» note on our front door, despite him being home all day, and we got a weird feeling about it. He called them and waited on hold forever, and then was denied any information regarding what «package» of ours they had because the package was under his father’s name and not his. I think he said the girl actually told him «I’m not going to lose my job over this,» when he asked her why it mattered that it was under his name. Silly scammers.
So we actually called back a second time to wait on hold and try to get through to a different person, this time impersonating his dad to be able to see what they had. After waiting for another good 10 minutes, we finally got through to a girl who cuts the husband off in the middle of a sentence and hangs up on him– within the first 30 seconds of the call!
Angry and really confused, we called back a third time (we we’re really wanting to know, y’all!), and this time, the girl does her spiel. You won a thousand dollars in grocery coupons and oh, let us just get your e-​mail for that… After which she started spouting off how our new home had been «sponsored» by GE and was selected as a home that was receiving a one-​time offer for a home alarm system installation, only at $ 1 a day!
My husband, unraveling the clues by this point, asks the girl on the phone what the call was all about– since there was no actual «product» that they had for us at all. Within a few seconds, the girl quickly hung up! Seriously!
So 30 minutes of our lives… gone. Poof. His phone and e-​mail are probably going to get spammed, and a bunch of advertisers get a good list of e-​mail addresses to harass. I’m reporting to the BBB and everyone on Unilocal should do the same!

Another time when I wish there were 0 stars I could give out.
Got a very misleading postcard taped to our home, called, and the same scam tactics as others have reported.
I can’t believe these morons still stay in business. AG – go after them please!

This happened to me at my house and it also happened to my dad at his house.
I think I’m going to call them just to waste their time since I’m not doing anything at work right now. let’s see how long I can keep them on the phone for! HEHE

These guys are lying jerks.
They tape small UPS-​type notices on people’s front doors saying «tried to deliver your package & missed you — call us back at X number.»
Then you sit on a phone queue for ages to find out — THERE’S NO PACKAGE. That it was an ADVERTISING message to get you call them so they could pitch you their services — despite the fact that the notice clearly said «delivery of existing package pending your call» and said nothing about selling you anything.
Wasted 30 min on this, phone hold etc. Jackasses. I’m reporting them to BBB for deceptive advertising.
Oh & they «operate» in San Antonio as well.
