History

Established in 2012.

CJ’s big boy BBQ comes from a family of south Texas cookers that have been BBQ for 3 generations. Cj started his BBQ adventure at an early age watching and learning from his grandpa, uncles and older cousins. At age 17 Cj started doing BBQ cook off completions under the team name of the original Tejano Cookers. The tejano cookers and Cj have done very well on the BBQ cook off circuit winning cook offs all the way from south Texas to north Texas. In 2012 Cj opened his first BBQ trailer in Austin Texas as CJs Big Boy BBQ.
