Nothing but praise for Christine. She’s fast, efficient, and so friendly. Spreading your legs for a stranger will always be awkward, but Christine’s skillful technique and easygoing personality will make it a smooth experience. Pun intended.

I have been going to Christine for years and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. She is fast, professional, and efficient. She’s super friendly and always puts you at ease, plus she always pays attention to little details about her clients. She’s definitely one of the best in town!

She is really great at what she does, i just think i caught her on a gloomy day which was not okay or worth 5 stars.

Ms. Christine was AMAZING! Like many people have said «quick and painless.» Waxing is not always the most pleasant feeling, but Christine did a great job making it as comfortable as possible. I left with no redness and a big smile. The bonus part was she was very sweet and friendly as well. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Christine is amazing. She makes you feel super comfortable and makes the process quick and (almost) pain-​free. I came here for my first wax and I was nervous but she is super friendly and talked with me the whole time. And the price is decent as well! The room is clean and I come back as often as I can.

Christine is awesome. Fast, efficient, and detailed oriented, Christine always makes my brows look polished and perfect. I have pretty sensitive skin and always turn beat red after getting waxed and Christine has this delightful little serum that is cooling, calming, and just plane wonderful that always does the trick. As far as the always enjoyable brazilian, well, maybe enjoyable is a stretch, but with Christine it’s always over quickly and with the recommended daily exfoliation I rarely have ingrowns. Christine’s room is very comfortable and calming and she has a bedside manner to match :-)

Christine was my first Brazilian and can I say WOW. She made me feel so comfortable and I didn’t even realize the wax over when it was! Christine is professional, kind, and very respectful. I recommend her!

Updated review: Christine and I were able to get in touch and set up an appointment. She was just as great as all the reviews say! She was fast and there was much less pain then I expected (I rarely wax). She did a great job and it made my vacation way easier as I was able to run around all week in my bikini with no worries. The only reason my review is less then 5 stars is because of the previous mentions. I will totally be back to see Christine. It’s worth the drive as I live in Kyle.

This is not about Christine as her services go. I have been trying to get ahold of her for well over a week. Her reviews look good and I had found deals on Unilocal and living social that made me was to go to her before my vacation, However… I could never get ahold of her to get some information, I tried emailing (with no response), tried texting the number (as the website says) but my text would not go thought (and it’s not a problem on my end) and I tried calling but the voicemail picked and and her mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. :(I would love to give her a good review, but I can’t ever set up an appointment. Don’t you hate missed business?

I’ve been seeing Christine for about 2 years now for all my waxing needs. I can’t imagine (and don’t want to) going somewhere else.
She’s incredibly friendly, upbeat, and kind. She’s fast and if you’re nervous or uncomfortable, she will quickly put you at ease. She truly cares about her clients and it’s so easy to become friends with her. I will never, ever go elsewhere for my waxing needs.
Christine is impossible to dislike and she’s the BEST at what she does. There is truly no other comparison.

Christine is great, especially if you’re like me with crazy thick hair. I have gotten waxes before, but had to take a gap because I was on a budget. I read the rave reviews for Foxy Mermaid, and decided to check it out. While getting a Brazilian wax after so long was definitely not a painless process, Christine went slow and took her time with taking out less hair at a time to minimize my pain. It was really sweet of her, and it was much appreciated.
She is also great to talk to, and the Unilocal deal is pretty sweet. I will definitely be returning!

I get my brows waxed by Christine every month. Not only is she the best, but she is just very sweet and laid back too. Always makes you feel comfortable and you cannot beat her prices. I will never go anywhere else!

The building is a bunch of just independent beauty practices all in one location so its a little weird at first but Christines room is completely private and she makes you feel very comfortable in what is not always the most pleasant experience.

I used to be able to get a quality Brazilian wax for a nickel on any block in Miami. And then… I moved to Austin. After trying numerous salons in this city that just overcharge for average quality, once I found Just Peachy (through a livingsocial deal!) I knew I would keep coming back to Christine.
1. Booking appointments and paying is such a breeze. I love the email reminders for appointments and receipts can be emailed or texted to you.
2. Christine puts attention to detail: from the wax used, to the fact she always goes back to clean up stray hairs and even the music she sets to play in the background.
3. Christine’s attitude. She’s very good about keeping conversation going (great to distract you if you are nervous, first time waxing, etc) and when I was running late because I had entered the wrong address in GPS once she was very easy going and professional. Atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable.
All my appointments so far have gone pretty quick and have never skimped on service or quality. I would honestly recommend trying her out first if you are considering various options. (Seriously, I learned the hard, excruciatingly painful way. Don’t do the same.)
