Chase Bank

If I could give a zero it would be the most appropriate for this bank. I deposited a $ 4000 check on the 23^rd. The deposit receipt stated the available balance would not be available until April 1^st! They show the present balance with deposit but 2 auto payments have gone through& they now have charged me $ 34 overdraft fee X 2! Don’t use this bank!!!

I unfortunately was paid by a previous employer via «Chase Quick Pay». The money was available Sept 2. 2012. I clicked to accept the payment. After going through their verification process they said the funds might be in by the Sept. 13^th. «Quick Pay»? I was told no transactions online take place over the weekend. I would have to wait for a business. Really? So what is the benefit of Chase’s «Quick Pay» service? I would not recommend Chase.

I’m pretty much convinced that this branch is run by a bunch of illiterate monkeys. I visited several Chase locations and never had a problem until today. This branch is more concerned with opening up new accounts than operating efficiently.
I made at least 4 – 5 deposits, even at this location, for funds earned by my office– IN MY NAME. This time, they refused to deposit my check unless I opened up a business account. When I asked them to explain the inconsistency, why I had been allowed to make the same type of deposit several times before, the teller nor the manager could give me more than an «I don’t know.»
Talk about incredibly frustrating. The manager then attempted to convince me to open a new business account with them. WTF?! I felt like I was taking crazy pills at this point. Why the hell would I try to open an account with a bank that operates in such a disorganized, inefficient fashion?
F*** YOU Chase off Slaughter and Brodie. You are lucky my jumpy pregnancy hormones spared you the personal insults and profanities stored on the back of my tongue. Although, I didn’t take much pleasure in yelling at your idiot staff.

WAMU customer who has been converted to CHASE. All I can say is TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. If you want to be screwed with all kinds of fees, etc than this is the bank for you. Not only will the bank screw you, the employees will do it with a smile.
Basically I had a banking problem brought about by the conversion. I couldn’t get a single person to help me in a timely fashion after my initial visit into the bank nor could I get the manager (Gelan) to call me back and even talk to me about my problem. My issue was finally resolved a month later after another visit to the bank and funds were finally returned to me.

O$$M$$G$$…I absolutely cannot stand this bank…

Where to begin? I will try to be careful, I went here last week and let’s just say I spoke to a Shdavid Shwmiller (to protect his identity) and what a jerk. He cared more about the fact that he missed his breakfast (so not my problem) than he did helping me…
He had the personality of a popped air bag.
I used to have WAMU and LOVED WAMU! I am sick that Chase took them over. I regret it more often than not…
Chase started blowing up all of my phones and sending my certified letters about home refinancing, yet when I called the number on the caller ID or in the letters, nobody would help me. They told me to go to the branch so I did…
This man did not listen to me nor help me… he stated that he knew nothing of the letters or of the phone calls and that WAMU must be responsible for them (even though EVERYTHING Is in BLUE Chase letterhead) and he said I needed to wait a few MONTHS until everything is fully transitioned over.
THEN WHY AM I GETTING (OVERNIGHTED) LETTERS NOW and ten phone messages a day to refinance? I asked and he kept blaming the transition and WAMU when WAMU is no more! ???
I left irritated, with no answers, and just as frustrated as I was when I went in there…
We are going to have to get involved with another bank… I miss WAMU so much and think Chase needs to stop running and SIT DOWN… There is no chase or quickness either when it comes to the transaction department…
For example, WAMU used to direct deposit our checks faster than Chase… If I had a live check and put it in WAMU, it posted that day, Chase does not…
WAMU customers knew that Chase was taking over, but all of the letters and emails indicated that these banks would be so similar, yet they are night and day… sucks!
Oh and this man also had the nerve to tell me that WAMU never rewarded people for using their debit cards (YES THEY DID) and he wanted me to pay 25 per year to get rewards back when our former bank did it for free…
Everyone in Chase defends that place and makes it out like WAMU was the Devil. I am sorry, but it was not. I have got to make it a point to get my things and order so that this chase can end and I will go elsewhere… BOOOOO!!!
Oh and double heads up, the ATM here never seems to work on Sundays, both inside and out, so don’t waste your time like I have on a few different occasions… when I told that person he just said oh well they were servicing it… he could have cared less…
