Chaparral Moving

If I could give them zero stars I would. I used them in 2010 and I will never forget how terrible they are. They first gave me a quote for a long distance (an hour) move. I accepted and paid. Two extremely unprofessional men showed up. They threw my belongings over the balcony, scratched up walls, quit in the middle and demanded more money. When I showed them out contract, they then screamed at my 8 year old daughter. Locked up their truck and the driver shouted, «I’m keeping your shit!» We had to call the police. I posted on Facebook about it and the owner called me and threatened to sue me! Really? We had to rent a U Haul and pack the rest and unload our things ourselves. The police made them deliver our furniture. Some broken. Biggest waste of 1500 ever. Rudest, unprofessional, crappiest, nightmare service ever! Total scam artists!

Tony and his team are amazing. They came to my rescue when the first moving company didn’t show up, and they were here within an hour of the call! Tony, Anthony and Tom moved all my furniture into pods with in 2 hours!!! The running joke was «Oh man I blinked» because all of a sudden a room was empty! I don’t know what they usually charge because they even honored the other company’s quoted price!!! I will absolutely call them back when I have the pods unpacked!

I moved in June using Chapparal Moving and Tony and his guys were awesome! He wrapped all of our belongings an took great care and pride in moving them very carefully. They even left all the belongings wrapped while it was kept in storage and when we moved to our new location they again did an awesome job.
I would recommend Tony and his guys anytime!

At the recommendation of a friend, I used Chapparal for an in-​town move between storage units. The contents were precious to me, things from my grandparents’ house including a grand piano and other fragile antique furniture. Needless to say, no margin for error. Our crew, Tony, Jesse and Carlos, got to the storage location about 10 minutes ahead of our appointed time, called to let me know they were ready and waiting, and set to work immediately. They had everything carefully packed and loaded in under 30 minutes and they worked with equal care and focus at the new storage location. They did a great job, were very courteous and respectful, and it was a pleasure to watch such an experienced, high-​functioning team do their thing. I had absolutely no trouble trusting them to take great care of my belongings. I would definitely use Chapparal again and recommend them to others.

Holy moving, Batman! My moving nightmare turned into a moving rescue when I called Chaparral moving. I had seen their movers moving someone into a home near my work and had called to ask about availability on a Friday for the next day, Saturday, which happened to be the busiest weekend of the year. I was told they had a rescheduled move and had an opening. I had to check with the man who wears the pants first about pricing and we mis-​communicated about who was hiring the movers. So here comes moving day and we have no movers which was totally our fault. I called Chaparral and Tony worked me in and magically fit all of the items I was taking to storage into their huge trailer. All of my stuff filled the entire trailer, which was by no means small. I said there was no way it would all fit into a 10×15 storage that I had reserved. Tony assured me with much confidence that he could make it fit. I admit, I was nervous, but once we got to storage, he literally worked a miracle and fit the furniture, plus boxes, of a 3 bedroom, 2 living room, house into a 10×15 storage and I still had some space left for odds and ends. WOW. I’m more than impressed with Chaparral Moving. They rescued us and had my stuff moved out just in time before my 2:00 PM deadline. Tony and his helper worked so quickly, efficiently and we super courteous and very pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again and again! Hopefully I don’t have to move that many more times…

Would not use again. Quoted us one price and charged us double. I’m sure there are better moving companies in the area to use.

Moving is never fun, but Chaparral Moving definitely made it less painful! They arrived on time, with adequate experienced staff, proper equipment, clean moving blankets and trucks, and a GREAT attitude. They moved furnishings from a 4 bedroom, 2 story house in San Antonio into a 10×30 storage unit in Cedar Park without damaging anything… AND for a very reasonable price! I was amazed at the vision necessary to put that puzzle together, therefore I hired them again when it was time to relocate the furnishings into a new home. They did not disappoint and I will never use any other movers. Chaparral Moving is very professional and I highly recommend them.

I love these guys. They have moved me twice now. The guys that move you are very courteous. Also, I really like that when you call to schedule your move you always talk to the owner on the phone and he is very nice and knows whats going on. I will definitely use them again.
