Catch Air

This place is awesome! My 4 year old and 19 month old loved it. Tons of fun rides and climbing to keep them busy. We went in the afternoon/​early evening and it was great timing, not too busy.

Perfect place for a daycare field trip. Especially for a small group of kids five and under. The check in process went smoothly even with a group. We didn’t book a room and have some of the issues, in that area, as others experienced so it was an easy and fun time for all. The everyone having to have socks is a given. No one wants to share anyone else’s toe jam. The place had an, «Alice in Wonderland», feel to it with all the bright colors and unique play structures. It’s great that they let the parents get on some of the bigger equipment to help the little ones out. The kids and parents had a blast! And as a bonus, Moonie’s Burgers is next door and that’s where most of us ended up after our day of play.

Probably the nicest bounce house place I have been to.
There is a ton of stuff for the kids to do there and the place is huge.
Only reason for 4 stars it the price — kind of expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Complete. And. Total. Sensory. Overload.
This place is barely controlled chaos and is overwhelming on every level. Of course the kids loved it.

Really fun place for my 1 and 2 year old. When I looked up this place on their website I did not see where adults had to have socks — me and my husband had to buy their socks $ 6 super gross — I guess I should have Unilocaled first to see the socks thing. Otherwise super cool for 1 and 2’s!

Catch Air is cute and clean. For Children 6 & under only. My 5 yr old daughter and her friend really enjoyed the underwater theme and the interactive experiences they had to offer.
As a parent, I dont enjoy sitting in kiddie chairs & wish there was a parent lounge. Busniess owners need to realize that parents need fun too! PlayWerx in Carlsbad, Ca does it right and they should be modeled in every center like this. I’m talkin Wi-​fi, couches, full coffee & snack bar, attendants to watch kids, coloring and quiet reading station for kid breaks. That’s what this place needs to make it the ultimate go to on rainy days with the kids.

This is a really great indoor playscape as other parents and grandparents have mentioned. We came here on a Saturday morning for an
event and had a great time. Clean and comfortable. We will be back!

We had a blast! Like most play places, socks required for all so we made sure to have them! My 19mo was non stop from the second we got in and seriously loved it and did way more than I thought she’d be able to! Her little world was blown away by the spinning seats, light ripe wall, and water bed platform! So much fun for both of us =). Only rated 4 stars because there were lots of unsupervised kids while their parents sat. We had no problems though. Also in the 4ft and under toddler area one of the zipper walls was unzipped and a friends toddler almost walked off the platform because she thought it was another thing to climb through. I’m sure it’s hard to inspect each and every element for flaws and safety issues but it’s necessary so these kids don’t get unnecessarily injured! For $ 8 admission we probably won’t come often but fun for a treat every once in a while!

Let me get the good things out in front; friendly staff, clean establishment, unique equipment made just for kids and very kid friendly. We had our daughter’s birthday party at Catch Air. She had a really good time, but there was such a breakdown in communication between them and us that it got infuriating by the time we checked out. The party host was a nice kid but he acted like it was his first day on the job. We had to keep asking him for things we thought were taken care of by the establishment, like water for the kids, delivery of the pizza, etc.
We were the only kids party, so they put us in the only room that did not have an air conditioning unit, and with 10 sweaty kids and their parents cramped into the room raised the heat index. There was no water for the kids so we had to ask for it two times before we got it. I had to go to the front to buy water for the adults– 8 waters came out to $ 18. At this time my wife asked about the air and that’s when they said that they would need to adjust the temp in the main area in order for it to cool down in the sweat box. Still not cooler, we asked about moving to another room and they said that the other rooms were not prepped for a party. By that time the kids were already eating their pizza and it might be worse to get up and relocate. So we toughed it out in the sweat box, and some of the parents stepped out of the room to cool off. It got really uncomfortable so we rushed the cake and presents to get the kids out and back on the playscape. Also, they never brought out the ice cream we purchased.
When I checked out I was asked how it went and I said okay. My dismay was obvious so I was asked what made it just okay. I unloaded on the manager and she was apologetic and offered to make up the difference because of the ice cream. She hands me the bill and it is double what I was quoted when I made the reservation and paid the deposit. I bring it up to the manager and she reads off what I was charged and offered to make another adjustment. The big difference was the charge for a weekend party when it occurred on a week night, and the manager forgot to take off the ice cream charge.
By now I had had enough, I was still sweating from the sweat box and just wanted to go. What I got out of it was a discount card for a subsequent visit. Yeah, I doubt it.

Great place for kids to play in the comfort of a/​c. Excellent for toddlers up to probably 3^rd or 4^th grade. There are so many activities that my kids have fun for hours. There are inflatable slides, a large playscape with tunnels and padding all over so kids don’t get hurt. There is a ball pit and tons of things to crawl on. It’s very clean and has a good amount of parking. Went on a Thursday after work and not crowded at all. There were probably 10 kids here although I am sure they can get crowded on the weekends or earlier in the day. Will definitely come back and likely be a regular here.

My daughter loves this place, having been here many times with her grandmother.
But be aware that they require everyone, including adults, to wear socks. That’s not a huge deal, but if you don’t bring your own socks, they charge you more than three dollars for a pair that probably costs them fifth cents.
If you’re going to have a rule different than every other child play area in the city, making it a profit center seems petty.

SOCKS ARE REQUIRED (no shoes… no barefeet). If it’s that BIG of an f’ing deal they need to make sure birthday invitations say it (even outside invitations). Of course you can buy some but I should not be required to. Especially if I’m not playing on their equipment. It’s f’ing ridiculous.
So here I sit by the register while my son enjoys a 2 hour birthday party.
Know what else this means. Kids are required to go in the bathroom w/​out shoes!!! F’ING GROSS!!!

Have attempted to play here three times; only made it in once. We were turned away at the door once bc they were at capacity and the other time it was closed for a private event, with no warning on their website. Do you know how much it sucks to have to tell a 5 and a 7 year old that we can’t go in, when standing at the door?!
The kids had a blast the one time we actually made it in.

We walked in the door ready to attend a party and the entrance was chaos with piles of shoes in buckets, on the floor and jammed in the too few cubbyholes. There was not enough staff to explain how to check in and certainly not enough iPads to fill out our information.
To attend the party I had to agree to let them take and use whatever photos they took from random photos of us from the multiple cameras (mostly hidden cameras which is creepy). I wanted to leave but we were there for a party so I «agreed» to all the release of any/​all liability and use of photos, etc which, let’s be honest here, really pissed me off.
The music was so loud I could barely talk to an adult (it was like being in a club) so I could never hear my child call for me. The lights kept going out which, coupled with the layout, made it impossible for my child to find his friends and me and it was impossible for me to find my child.
Although it hasn’t been open long, the women’s bathroom drain already had caked dirt/​nastiness in the drain (I posted a photo) and some of the equipment handles were torn off completely, hanging by threads or torn on one end (I posted a photo) which made it really dangerous. Since you have to sign a legal waiver releasing them of any damages, they have no incentive to make sure the equipment is safe.
The presents were left out on carts and it appears the gift we gave the child was «lost.» Lovely. I’ve never been so glad to leave a place.

Pretty epic play place — and on weekends even though there’s a lot of kids, the open space versus activity space is perfectly balanced so that it feels lively while not too crowded.
Everything is nicely padded, even the backs of some of the moving jungle gym stuff (I tried to observe critically, imagining if I had little three-​year-​old fingers that could get caught in stuff — and I never found any. Very safe!)
We brought a 2yo, 5yo, and 10yo, and all had fun. The staff are pretty observant and keep the right-​sized kids on the appropriate equipment, politely asking kids that are too big to get off the smaller-​kid stuff.
The climbing, multi-​level structure is sturdy enough for parents to crawl through (albeit mostly on your hands and knees), so that they can be there to keep an eye on the kids. And there’s a variety of climbing, swinging, sensory stuff in there, plus an awesome 2-​story slide down.
Overall it is a great way for kids to take some calculated risks in stretching their limbs and learning how to jump, climb, and get more confidence physically using their bodies.
Very clean, very safe, and the kids loved it!

My 21 month old loved this place! We just moved to Austin and are happy about all the indoor kids play spaces.
I thought Safari Champ was cool (esp at $ 3 on Wednesdays), but this place was much cooler.
It was kind of like walking into a Tokyo theme inflatable Candy Land (neon colors, flashing lights).
Children 2 and under $ 7; 3 – 16 $ 11. Adults free (as it should be).
Bring socks!
You walk in and there’s a fake inflatable fish pond (not for jumping), a inflatable «merry go round» (kids only!), a led light up slide, ball pits, a merry go round with swinging balls, big climbing structure with fast slides, a gun that shoots styrofoam balls, big inflatable slides, huge IPad to use «paint» etc.
Kept my son busy for a good 3 hours.
The only con is they don’t have food like Safari Champ or Mt. Playmore. Only chips, soda and candy really. But there’s a burger spot next door and a lot of places to eat closeby.

Cute décor! It’s almost like candyland! Unique playscape for kids. No arcades besides two big iPad-​like screens– which is nice because I don’t have to pull out more money to play games. It’s a bit of a small area but the different types of activities is very neat. I like this place a lot more then other places. I would definitely come back!

This place is fan-frickin’-tastic! My kiddos have the best time here. There is so much for them to explore. The owners are really nice and are always on site. Although they are still working out some of the new place kinks, we’ve had great experiences here.
The only downside is that everyone is required to wear socks only while in this establishment which makes for a very tricky and oftentimes, gross visit to the bathroom. Ugg.
I’m also not a fan of the lights dimming during their dance party breaks for parties. When we were there in the evening, it was more difficult to keep an eye on my sweeties.
We look forward to coming back to this location and look even more forward to them possibly expanding to the Round Rock area.

I was really excited to go to catch air this morning with some friends. My husband brought the kids in and was told there was a birthday party until 11. I walked over after getting some coffee and our friends showed up, so I figured we would meet inside and figure out what to do for the next hour. There was no post in their website, no notice on social media and no sign in their door.
As we sat trying to figure out what to do next, one of the employees came out and told us we needed to leave. We were just taking a few minutes (inside as it is 36 degrees out) to figure out what to do.
She didn’t ask nicely she told us we had to leave. I asked if we can just figure out our next steps and she repeated that it was a private party and we had to leave.
What a terrible way to do business. It wax incredibly rude. There were probably 5 families that were waiting. They all had to leave with there small, disappointed children. It makes me question if we’d go back if they treat people that way.

Wow! Pleasantly surprised by this place. I wasn’t expecting too much considering it’s another strip mall kid place that sounds like a trampoline/​inflatable play area. Nope! It’s so much more.
The whimsical motorized attractions are perfect for a range of ages, starting from toddlers. Toddlers kind of get a raw deal in most of these places, so I was glad to see that there are areas just for them. In fact, two areas are specifically for 3-​feet and 4-​feet– and unders. One of them has a kind of carousel and a clear waterbed-​style «pond» where you can see little plastic fish «swimming» around. The other area has several slides and other very imaginative rides. All covered in heavy layers of padding. In the slide/​ball pit area, I did witness two kids fall back on the slides and hit their heads, to the point that they were crying. So be aware.
For older kids (and adults), there are lots of great places to climb, chase, slide and shoot foam balls. Mt. Playmore is the only other place that I’ve been to that invites adults to play with their kids, and though it is a fun workout, I VASTLY enjoyed myself more at Catch Air.
Also, it’s socks-​only after you check in, so that alleviates at least a bit of the germ fears.
