History

Established in 2013.

This is owner Ashley de Jong’s adult dream home in her favorite neighborhood where she lived pre-​kids. The area is eclectic, walkable, friendly, artistic and close to everything you want to see in Austin. The shops and restaurants are of very high quality and all of it is local.

When we saw the house itself we fell in love with the amazing tree, the natural light and the warm feel of the place. Casa SoCo has a very special vibe.

Casa SoCo opened as a vacation rental in August of 2013. We love hosting our guests and they love us back.

Ashley is a native Austinite. She is all Austin — «different from the rest of Texas» — but knows Texas-​friendly hospitality like no one else. Ashley is a public policy guru, people problem solver and philanthropist (and mom).
