Camp on the Move is a Field Trip based Summer Camp. We operate every summer from June– August. We travel in Charter buses to such places as Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Schlitterbahn, Sea World, Six Flags Arlington and Splashtown. We have fun on Party Boats, Zip lining, Rock Walk Climbing, Movies and more! Our summer camp is for kids ages 7 – 14. Camp on the Move is a Field Trip Everyday. History

Established in 2000.

An idea can happen anywhere and it just so happened that the concept for Camp on the Move was developed in a charter bus on a field trip with middle schoolers.

Ronda was a teacher and Debi was a parent on a school-​funded field trip. They just happened to be seated next to one another and the summer camp magic began. Ronda had looked into summer daycares for her daughter Ellary and was unimpressed. As a teacher, she knew that her students loved field trips, so why not make every day of the summer a field trip?

Debi agreed and added that she always felt sorry for the older kids left in her daycare for the entire summer.

Our goal is to provide a unique and spectacular experience for our campers. We look forward to the 2010 summer season, presenting the ultimate adventure in summer camps, employment for teachers, high school and college students, and service to our community.

Camp on the Move has been moving campers ages 8 to 14 to fun and exciting places for 15 years. We realize how important an active summer is to all children and encouraging physical activity is our mission at Camp on the Move. We are on a field trip every day! No more hanging around inside all day– we are out and about having a great and memorable summer.
