History
Established in 2011.
Busy-Being started as an online store in 2004. On October 29, 2011 owner Amber Abramson, opened as a brick and mortar pop-up shop in
the back of Austin’s popular Domy Books store. Her vision is to bring
exposure to the artists and artisans that she has developed close friendships
with during her past ten+ years of working in the art world and running a
prominent Los Angeles art gallery. Craftsmanship is spotlighted in the items she has hand picked to carry in her shop, 99% of which cannot be found anywhere else in Austin.
