YAAAAAAS! I have been here for state inspection probably about 5 times at this point over the years with several vehicles. They are so friendly and fast here! They are very attentive as soon as you pull in (eliminating the ‘where do I park?’” confusion that I often have when going to service stations. Plus, they have never failed me for inspection, so that works for me. Thank you, Terry’s!

Wow. This place is super fast. I rolled in at 8:50 and was on my way by 9. Staff was super friendly and efficient. I was the first one there that morning so I didn’t have to wait at all. I called a different place the day before and they said the wait was 2 hours! Don’t mess with that. Just visit Terry’s and you’ll be on your way in 10 minutes. Just perfect!

They did an excellent job! The inspection was very quick, the staff HUSTLED. I waited 2 and half minutes to get my car inspected. QUICK!!! The complete inspection was done in less than 15 minutes. Service like this is in Austin is hard to find. This place has a true Austin atmosphere and the staff, CHRISTY takes care of her customers percent. I was recommended by a buddy of mine. I would extend this recommendation anyone in Austin, especially in the Burnet Rd area. KUDDOS to this business. They have made me a raving client and deserving of all accolades of a 5 star rating for great customer service!

Wooo nothing beats the speed of this place! Park and then walk straight into the garage. There’s no indoor waiting room but there are some chairs set up in the garage. You watch them do the inspection, then you pay. We were in and out in like…15 minutes. Awesome!
And they scrubbed the glue off from the previous sticker. Yay!

I got in with no wait during the lunch hour on a Monday. The inspection was fast, the staff was friendly, and they honored a $ 2 off coupon from Unilocal (for checking in) against the combined $ 18.50 safety and emissions inspection.

This place is the best.
I had my car inspected here three years in a row. Without a doubt, the fastest, BEST inspection station I’ve ever visited. You drive up, sign in, they inspect your car, and you go. I’ve never waited longer than 15 minutes total, including the busier times I’ve visited. The only downside is the outside waiting area– however, being as I’ve never had to wait long at all, this doesn’t even matter to me.
For my last inspection, I decided to take a risk and visit some other place on Burnet. I waited over an hour. I’ve become so spoiled by Terry’s, this was unbearable and unacceptable. I can’t go back now. Terry’s is the ONLY place to get your vehicle inspected.

Whhhhhat? How have I not reviewed this place? It’s nothing fancy, mind you. But it’s lightning fast. It’s like the Flash opened an inspection shop.
You go in… you wait for a hot second… your car is inspected! Much better than the lackadaisical situation I found myself in at Jiffy Lube recently. These dudes do it – and do it fast.

Best inspection experience I”ve ever had.
So hard to find I felt like I was on a game show. Hint: You can;t get to it directly from Burnet, you have to enter down this alley looking thing one street to the east.
The old garage is full of eclectic collectible stuff to look at.

My sister and I have been going to Terry’s for years. It’s FAST and Doug is so polite and so nice. Just got back from our annual visit. Little bit of a wait because there were 3 cars in front of us. Once it’s your turn it takes about 6 minutes to get your sticker… wait, we don’t get stickers anymore. Did you know Doug has a scary perfect memory? He never forgets who we are and always calls us by our names! Awesome service, awesome place. We love Terry’s!

: the waiting area is lacking. bc it’s an open air facility, when it’s hot or cold out, you are subjected to that as you wait for your vehicle to be done

Would I go back? I most certainly would! It’s my go-​to place for having my inspections done quickly and efficiently.
