History
Established in 1974.
Rhonda Brink began her law practice in 1974 at the Austin firm Clark, Thomas and Winters and then started her own firm in 1998.
Frances Bennett began her legal career as a Law Clerk for the Federal Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit with The Honorable Homer Thornberry, as well as a position as a Law Clerk in the Southern District of Texas for The Honorable Ricardo H. Hinojosa. She served as a law clerk for the Texas Supreme Court and worked as an intern for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.
Jason Flaherty is a Certified Public Accountant and worked in accounting and finance for 6 years before he began his legal career in 2002 at the Austin firm Jenkens & Gilchrist and later the Winstead firm.
Frances and Jason began their partnership in 2008 and in 2015 Rhonda, Frances and Jason merged their practices.

Jason grew up in Kansas and settled in Austin in 2002 along with his wife, Mary, also a native Kansan.
Jason is compassionate, friendly and approachable. He is also an expert in estate planning and estate and gift tax law and is a frequent speaker and author on the subjects.
Jason graduated from Northwestern University School of Law (with honors) and received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Kansas. Jason is a Certified Public Accountant, has been voted a Texas Super Lawyer by Law and Politics magazine, has previously served as President of the Austin Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate section, has previously served as Chair of the State Bar of Texas tax section’s Estate and Gift Tax Committee, and is an editor of the Estate and Gift tax update for the REPTL magazine for the State Bar of Texas.
