We have seven lawyers who represent governmental employees, primarily teachers and other employees of school districts in Texas. We handle employment disputes and professional licensure matters for teachers, doctors, nurses, and other licensed individuals.

History

Established in 1983.

We began as «Brim, Tingley», then became «Brim, Tingley, and Arnett» in 1985. Jay Brim and Rick Arnett have been the senior partners of the firm since 1986. The firm has represented members of the Association of Texas Professional Educators throughout its history; Jay Brim has represented the association and its members since 1980.

Business Owner

Jay Brim is a UT Austin grad, both undergraduate and law school, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1975. He was licensed to practice law in Texas on October 22, 1974. In July of 2013, he received the Kelly Frels Lifetime Achievement Award from the School Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
