Unresponsive. I moved into an apartment that was not cleaned upon my move in despite being told it would be ready for me. The water heater was tagged by the gas man as not passable and I showered in Ice cold water for a week until the maintenance man fixed it. Then I was assessed more fees they forgot to charge me when they took my rent and security deposit and gave me the keys. A few months later, the management company moved offices and did not give me any info regarding this then called me at the end of the month because my rent did not get sent to their new office and I was accused of not paying them until she went to the old office and found my check and realized I had paid early. The next month I mail the rent to the new office — A month later I get an email charging me $ 70 for late payment due in 2 days. When I called an inquired, Laura the same lovely human who accused me last month, laughs at me for trying to dispute the late charges and refuses to give me her supervisor’s name. When I finally get the name to complain about the late fee as well as Laura, he never calls me back — 3 polite messages = no response. The next day after my dispute w/Laura I get a Unilocal friend request from Laura and an email reducing my late fee to $ 50. Thanks. As well, when I moved in, the apartment seemed nice — the apartment next to me was vacant then rented to white trash who constantly slam doors and bang into my walls and additionally, they never take out their trash and cannot discern between what is recyclable and what is garbage so neither gets taken by the city of Austin. For the amount of rent I am paying — white trash should not be my neighbors and the apartment management should care about their customer service and satisfaction. As well, in order to get the lawn mowed for the property, I need to call 311 and report the complex to the city so they will be cited and the lawn will get mowed. What a shit management company. Update: they have been replaced as the management company. Good. Slumlord bullshit ceases. New bullshit begins.

Horrible response from these folks. In my opinion they are the stereotypical slum lord. Don’t care about their tenants, their tenant’s neighbors, or what kind of element they lease to and thus bring into a neighborhood.

I was overcharged on application fees, and I had to reach out to Bridgepoint Investors numerous times, for over a month, to finally get my money back. I was finally provided a refund, only as a result from my persistence. I would hate to see how things would have gone if I would have actually signed a lease with this company(which I didn’t as a result of feedback from neighbors in the area of the property for lease).
