History

Established in 2007.

Brian founded Regent Property Group in 2007. Prior to starting Regent, Brian worked in corporate and commercial real estate helping sell and lease commercial properties with a minimum value of $ 3M. His success led to his working as Vice President of Global Real Estate and Facilities at Johnson Controls (JCI), a Fortune 100 firm. While working for JCI, Brian took note of the deficiency of highly experienced and trained real estate executives serving the residential real estate industry. Recognizing an opportunity, Brian started Regent Property Group to provide home buyers and sellers with experienced and professional local resources to help buy and sell properties in Austin TX.

Brian Talley is the owner/​founder of Regent Property Group and a top producing REALTOR® who specializes in selling homes in west and central Austin. Brian has 17 years of real estate experience in Austin TX. He has a superb track record of results for his customers evidenced by his being awarded with the Austin Business Journal Top 25 Producers in 2014 and the Platinum Top 50 award.

Talley is a 5th generation Texan married to his business partner Erika. Brian and Erika have three young daughters Lauren, Leah and Alexis.

Our experience with Brian Talley of Regents Property Group on the recent sale of our home was the definition of «full service» & effectiveness. He provided guidance on house prep & staging, leveraged technology & social media extensively, held conference calls to go through all the details & pros/​cons of our 4 offers (all at list price or higher!!), provided solid references for repair work, led us through the offer to closing process, and all the while kept an appropriate level of communication with us on every step. We had the privilege of working with Brian several years ago. My
husband and I were moving back to Austin from Moscow, Russia, starting
a new job, and having a baby all within the span of a few months!
It was tall order with many complicating factors, but Brian delivered
with flying colors! He was proactive to set up our MLS link while we
were still overseas, and as soon as we arrived in the US, we were able
to hit the ground running. Brian bent over backwards to make sure we
could see as many houses as we could in a limited amount of time.
While we had several disappointments along the way, Brian was always
encouraging and we never felt rushed in our decision. First and
foremost, we felt like he was on our side and that, ultimately, he
wanted the best house for us, as a family.
An additional noteworthy advantage is how Brian excels in providing
unbiased, factual market-​based data, and his analytical understanding
of the Austin market is unparalleled. We unequivocally recommend RPG

We visited Austin on multiple occasions over a two year period and Brian was extremely patient and diligent in helping us find a home
When we finally decided to move there and wanted to buy a house, Brian worked night and day and finally helped us find the perfect house at the right price in the school district we wanted
We bought the house in the middle of our night (Europe) based upon Brian’s guidance

We worked with Brian to find a house when we relocated from San Francisco to Austin, and he made our transition so much easier! Since we weren’t at all familiar with the area, we had no idea where to start. Brian took the time to listen to what we wanted and also encouraged us to look at fantastic homes that we may have otherwise overlooked for one reason or another. And we’re glad he did! We ended up in a great home in a great neighborhood that we had originally scratched off our list. In fact, after looking at dozens of homes with Brian in person, we trusted him so much that we ended up buying a house site unseen based on a FaceTime tour and Brian’s thumbs-​up. The entire Regent team was fantastic to work with from the time we started looking all the way through the signing of the papers and beyond. My husband was trying to convince me to move our family to Austin for years. About 3 years ago he happened to be visiting and walked into Brian’s office by chance. We spent a few days working with Brian who gave us an overview of the Austin area and showed us a few houses in each neighbourhood we would consider living in. We then relocated out of the country and on our return 2 years later decided to finally move to Austin. Brian was our first call. He made a big impression on us the first time and really lived up to our expectations. He was diligent about sending information on every home but also the rising prices in the market and then the statistics on the two neighborhoods we were interested in. We are extremely happy with our new home and we would definitely use Brian in the future. He is very knowledgable about the industry and you will be in very good hands. He is a very hard worker, plus he is just a really nice person.
