Boot Barn

Awful awful service and probably the rudest staff I’ve ever dealt with at a retailer. If you have to return an item even if you have a reciept the red hair manager will find a reason to deny the return. This has happened 3 times there with them! I’ve noticed every time I’m at the store on Slaughter in South Park Meadows she hassles people when it comes to returning something. So if you do shop there better hope you don’t have to return it. Also I’ve heard the employees complain about her attitude to them to. Bad service! Shame to because I usually spend a lot of money in that store.

Couldn’t be happier. Got a killer deal on some Ariats and the sales staff was incredibly helpful.
I feel like Morton really went above and beyond for me. This was my first solo boot-​buying experience, so I was glad to have his assistance. He was duper patient and walked me through all the different types and his personal recommendations. You could tell he has been in the industry for a long time, had some serious knowledge.
A little bummed they didn’t have a bathroom, as I had to walk to target to take care of business. However, I’d be a crazy person to detract a star for something like that. I went there to buy boots, not use their toilet. But hey, you can’t shop on a full intestine!
Overall, the store was super clean, especially compared to some stores in their shopping center. The staff was ultra friendly, and check-​out was a breeze. Thanks again Morton, for all your help.

Wow! Walked in, found the same pair of boots we had just seen at Allens in Round Rock but priced $ 200 more. We were told Boot Barn price matched so we asked them to. The woman helping us gave us attitude that we would even ask but reported back the manager called the Allens manager and that he quoted the same price as Boot Barn. Immediately I called Round Rock Allens and confirmed the price I knew they were. We then asked to speak to the manager in person. He came over and told us he called the Austin store manager («Sam») and he was quoted the higher price and he could not price match Round Rock because «they were out of the city limits». When we got back in the truck we called the Austin location and AGAIN confirmed the lower price. ALSO no one by the name of Sam even works at that store. So I then called Boot Barn to speak to the manager again, confirmed it was him I talked to and relayed the information to him. He then proceeded to say he DID talk to Sam and that’s what he was told. I said that wasn’t possible because there was no Sam. Then he said «well actually we can’t price match over $ 100 difference anyway» I said «well that’s different than what you told us and whether you’re lying about calling at all or not you have terrible customer service especially for a manager I just thought you should know». Come hell and high water was I about to go back in to prove my point so I called. They don’t deserve my money whether they match or not. Obviously they don’t care about customer service, or making a sale. Horrible customer service from both the sales woman and THE MANAGER. Absolutely not will I ever visit this location again and will NOT recommend anyone to go here.

Went into this location yesterday to help my boyfriend look for a new pair of work boots. We haven’t purchased them yet because we ran out of time but plan on going back today to continue our search. There weren’t too many sales people, but the ones that were there spent their time evenly between the customers in the boot area. They were very knowledgable about the boots and different sizing options available and what an amazing selection.

I got a belt for christmas from Sheplers which Boot Barn bought out and which this location of Boot Barn was. Even though you can still buy something from
you can’t return everything to the store. Only if the store carries it. I will make sure I don’t buy anything from either Boot Barn or
from now on. Stick with Allens Boots a local company!
