Body Tonic Med Spa

This review is looonnggg overdue. Body Tonic is A+++ all around. All of the staff I have encountered have been very kind and thorough. Body Tonic is what every med spa should be. No matter where I move, I will always come back here because the results have been so incredible and I feel that I can trust the staff here– I wouldn’t risk it by going anywhere else.
Iris made my lips look AMAZING and so natural with Juvederm injections. I get compliments on my lips all the time and when I tell people they are injections nobody believes me. I had very thin lips before but now they are nice and luscious — my beauty has definitely been enhanced in a lovely, subtle way. Iris is so nice and down-​to-​earth too– I felt very relaxed and at ease with her. On another note, I’ve also been amazed at how long my injections have lasted. I know everybody is different but it’s been just over a year for me and my lips are still very nice.
I also had laser hair removal with Kit. I’ve had issues with hormone imbalances my entire life and suffered with thick hairs on my chin. Kit did a great job and like Iris, she was very down-​to-​earth and I felt at ease with her. I believe I had 6 treatments and it removed about 95% of the hair — I was amazed! I was not expecting such drastically wonderful results. No more plucking everyday or feeling that gross stubble on my chin. This procedure truly changed my day to day life and I am so grateful! It’s been almost 2 years now and I have not experienced any regrowth.

I had my lips done initially a year ago by Iris, and then today by Gina. Absolutely love them BOTH! My lips came out great each time and I will continue to go back in with either Iris or Gina. They are both artists and I trust them with my face!

Only one visit in to Body Tonic and I am planning on becoming a regular. They have a great services offering, from facials to laser treatments and injectables, and a talented team that really makes you feel welcome and calms your insecurities about all the things you don’t like about your appearance. Kit (sweet, bubbly and engaging) gave me a terrific facial and some great recommendations for products and other treatments that would address all of the things I want to fix (but not in a pushy way, more of an educational way) and left me with some product samples that I could try before committing to a whole bottle (this stuff isn’t cheap but is effective!). Next I had a consult with Gina, who listened patiently while I listed all of the ways I feel my face is showing my age and had great ideas about how to solve the problems, showing me before and after photos, and explaining the science behind how the treatments work. She has a geeky smart knowledge about what she does, and that gives me a lot of comfort — we’re talking needles y’all! She completed the first step in a multi-​phase treatment plan that I am sure will transform my appearance and help me retain some youthfulness as gravity and age try to take it away. I already have future appointments booked. Thank you, Body Tonic!

I’ve been going to Iris for a year and a half now and would recommend her to anyone getting filler (especially for lips!). She is so sweet and welcoming. She listens to your desired results and uses her own artistic eye to make that happen in the best way possible. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face and am so grateful to have found such an experienced injector.

I’ve been to many estheticians (sp?) in my time but the ladies at Body Tonic are the real deal. The location is convenient and aesthetically appealing. Leslie is also a cosmetic tattoo artist and performed a miracle. She rebuilt my sad pathetic ginger eyebrows from scratch. They look fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

I wanted to update my Unilocal since it’s been a few years. I took a few years off from services because of pregnancies, but I’m back and so excited to have the help of Iris and Kit to get my face back in shape. Iris is the injectables master and Kit has been so awesome educating me on things that will or won’t work for me, considering my goals. Everyone here is so kind and helpful… and they all have amazing skin! You won’t regret coming here and having these ladies help you get the skin you deserve. Thanks ladies!

Not sure about other services here but if you read online they offer hair removal, discard that information! I booked an appointment at 5:15pm to only find out they don’t do laser hair removal anymore. I booked this appointment on Tuesday, the appointment was for Thursday. They claim they tried to call me but unfortunately the calls didn’t go though or show on my call history. I was pretty disappointed in this whole deal.

It is almost impossible to put into words how happy I am to be part of the Body Tonic family. Finding someone whom you can entrust with your fears, insecurities, AND injections is a gift. I have had injections by both Iris and Gina and they are both rock stars. My most recent experience is with Gina — I had tear trough and cheek filler injections about one month ago and I cannot say enough about the experience and results. Gina put me completely at ease at my consultation, and on my injection day worked slowly and methodically to perfectly place my injections. One month out, my swelling is gone, but replaced by a swelling of my newfound confidence. I no longer wake up to dark circles. I no longer need concealer in the tear trough area, and no one can tell anything other than I look rested and awake!
I cannot wait to go back in February to tackle another area, and have complete confidence that Gina will once again work her magic!

I called to make an appointment for a lip enhancement, and Gina scheduled me in right away!
During the consultation we talked about product options (like Juvederm or Restalyn), looked at reference pictures, and talked about numbing options! I feel so comfortable in Gina’s room I’m almost sad I won’t be back for a refill for another few months!
Gina has an amazing technic and background in her field! She explains everything step by step and makes sure your results are exactly how you want them while still giving realistic results.
No one can tell my lips have been enhanced because they look naturally full and enhance the shape of my natural lips!
My first appointment I got a half of a syringe injected and after the swelling went down I had my follow up appointment, I decided to get another half syringe! My before and after pictures are killer! When I share with other people they can’t believe it!
The pricing is fair and matches up with other med spa’s I looked into before BodyTonic!

Leslie Sazon is AMAZING… I just had my eyebrows tattooed and they look so good. I have never had bold thick eyebrows and now I do! If you are looking for a solution to your lack of eyebrows or to fill in missing hair you should absolutely try this procedure! Contact Leslie she is a miracle worker!!! Love her!!!

My motto has always been that I’d rather look old than weird but I’d also rather not look old. After a lot of research on injection specialists in Austin, I went to Body Tonic for a consultation with the lovely, talented and sweet Iris. I left signing up for a lot more than I originally went in to explore. After looking at Iris’ beautiful visage, I asked her what she’s done and what she’d recommend. By the end of the consultation, I wholeheartedly trusted her and felt confident in doing her recommendations. I am happy to report that I am more than pleased with the way everything turned out. It all looks completely natural! My husband approves 100% and supports future visits. I had no idea it was possible to lift your brows with botox!!! I am stunned by the effect. I definitely have my younger eyebrows back. Not only is Iris very skilled (she’s been doing this for over 13 years) but she also has wonderful bedside manner. She’s very kind and calming. If you’re considering injections, you should definitely consider Iris & Body Tonic. They have gained a client for life!

I started going here for laser hair removal years ago but went in today for my first Dysport experience. Gina was amazing! She explained everything and answered all of my questions. Everyone there is so nice and very welcoming. I couldn’t give more praise to their professionalism and hospitality.

I had my first appointment today for a juvederm lip treatment with Gina! Prior to the appointment, I have never been injected by anything. After doing my research online, I found this to be the best Clinic to get what I was looking for done! My experience was beyond amazing! Gina did an excellent job educating me and performing the treatment! I am so happy with my result! I highly recommend!

Iris is «my gurl»! I’ve gone to her for several years now, and I simply cannot say enough nice things about this lovely lady! But she went on vacation recently, and I was overdue, so Gina was recommended. She was warm, funny, make me feel at ease right away. I’d never gone to anyone but Iris so I was a little nervous. I did a ton of research before deciding which medspa to go to for Botox. I found a few locations but was weary about going to them because of the mix of negative and positive reviews. Then I stumbled across Body Tonic and after reading all of the great reviews about Iris I immediately made an appointment with her! And yes she is AMAZING! Great technique and also super cool! I’ve seen her twice now and have been thrilled with the results.

Super rad staff, professional and very friendly. Great environment and Iris was fantastic. She was quick, thorough, and made everything virtually pain free. She worked with me to find exactly what worked for me. Even better, what she recommended turned out to be better and cheaper than what I initially made the appointment for.
Also– go get you some Leslie time too– she used to be my go to for all things skin related. She’s tha shit and I was so sad that I lost contact with her. It was a total surprise for me to see her at Body Tonic. I’ll definitely be making an appointment with her soon!

They use a topical numbing cream and ice packs before any painful procedure. I appreciate this. Iris is very talented and such a nice person. Going to Body Tonic is a pleasant experience. They always have tons of specials and do a very good job.

IRIS IS AN ARTIST of the highest caliber! But let me back up a minute and first give a start to finish review. I called to schedule a simple Botox appointment with Iris and Maricela answered the phone with the best personality ever. She is sweet, smart, and knows pretty much everything. After I hung up I felt like I couldn’t wait to meet her!
When I arrived for my appointment I felt immediately welcomed and at home. I was greeted by Maricela and she was just as great in person as she was over the phone. I filled out the paperwork and Iris was right on time!
I loved her immediately. She’s warm, welcoming and funny. We had a very thorough consultation to discuss my needs and concerns. I was there for my frownie-​face brow line & the «cords» of my neck, (I look like I’m scowling a lot when I’m simply focusing on whatever task I’m doing). I found out through further discussion I could fill in the dimples on my chin that have bugged me for decades! Anyway, that day I walked away with Botox for my brows and neck and was SO HAPPY with the results!
I went back today for some fillers: my awful dimples, (which used to be cute, but became shadowy holes in my face over time), the laugh lines around my mouth, tear troughs, and the brow lines that were caused by my scowling over the years… Needless to say, I thought it was a *magical* result! Dimples are completely GONE, and no more laugh lines, sunken tear troughs, and at the last minute I said lets get rid of these crows feet while we’re at it! Today I walked away looking and feeling younger and fantastic! (The photo is of the before and after dimples area– I’d post a full face, but it’s not quite ready– just a few pin marks at my tear trough area– but those will be gone very soon).
I had no idea what an improvement this would be. I figured it would be subtle, but great… This is flipping amazing!
Today Iris had Jenny assisting her, and she completely distracted me in a way that made the whole experience even better.
TEN STARS for the whole experience and 100 STARS for the final result! I’m a hairdresser, and I’ll be telling everybody about this place and Iris!
