Best and the Brightest – Redux

For my 500^th Unilocal review, I will explain clearly why these people are Unilocal Royalty. This review follows the original Best and the Brightest list from 2010:
Amy D.
I see Unilocal as art, but Amy has mastered it as science. She details an establishment, nails it, and gets off the stage. For Amy, it’s about what a place is, not what we want it to be. I may not always agree with her final rating — I mean, we are different people — but I always read what Amy says about a place before I go.
Sarah P.
Here’s why I admire Sarah P: When she was new to Austin Unilocal,she reached out and became one of us. When she needed a job, she went out and got one. When her car was totaled, she went out and bought another. I think I know Sarah P’s secret: No one has told her she’s entitled to simply bitch and moan and whine about life, instead of going out and getting it done, which is what she does. I see it in her writing. That’s why I admire Sarah P.
Alison L.
I’m totally awestruck, when I realize someone less than half my age is smarter, sharper, and cleverer than I am. I don’t resent it, I’m just in awe of it. When I casually mentioned this to Alison once, she laughed and changed the subject. These are the precise moments in life that make me step up my game.
Jenny L.
I’m pretty sure we were around together in a previous life, I’m not sure why this particular one presents more obstacles. I know we’re better and wiser now, but it probably won’t pay off until the next life. I’m curious what color her hair will be.
