Bark Avenue Mobile Grooming

Bark Ave Mobile Groomer was great to deal with. Fast efficient and made my dog, a labradoodle, look great. I have used other groomers in the past and the dog never quite came out the way that I was wanting him to come out. Brandi took the time to ask me what I wanted in my groom and what I could do with my dog. She is great to deal with and I am now on a good maintenance cycle to keep him looking his best. I don’t know why others are saying that they have issues with Bark Ave, they have treated me, and more importantly my dog, with great care and respect.

This lady does an absolutely fabulous job. She clearly loves animals, takes the time to squeeze you in & has always shown up exactly when she says. My kitty loves her & we do too!

Brandi at Bark Avenue Mobile Groomer is amazing with my pitbull who technically despises getting groomed. I used to take him to Petsmart but he would shake to death in fear and I hated that it would always take 3 – 4 hours.
Brandi comes to the house and it takes no more than 20 min for a bath/​dry/​nail trim. He adores her and I would recommend this place 100%.
I also have 2 miniature daschunds that are 16 years old and she was so gentle with them as well. It’s very hard to find a good place to bathe them since they are so delicate. Brandi did an amazing job and it was in a timely manner.
I’ve been using her for 3 years and she has always exceeded my expectations.

Brandy was absolutely amazing with my dog Fonzworth! I was a new customer and I was in absolute need of getting our dog groomed for pictures on Sunday, Brandy went over and beyond to accommodate us. She even called to see if she could come early which all worked out! I will be using her again! Thank you, my dog looks like he is a show dog, which he truly is not that :)

I used Bark Avenue while visiting family for a couple months while in Austin. I wanted someone who would come out to my Moms house and groom my girl, Fifi, as I didn’t feel comfortable bringing and leaving her anywhere. Brandi was very nice and made me feel at ease right away. Fifi looked great after her grooming. I wish she lived near my home in Louisiana! Very pleasant experience for us both.

I don’t know how this place can stay in business because A. They can’t communicate AT ALL and B. they don’t SHOW UP. I’m a business owner and believe me, with online reviews these days, one thing no business needs is pissed off customers… Which is why I tend to cut people more slack than others might. I had an appointment for my dogs to be groomed today. At 4:17 I got a text saying could she come Thursday? This began on Feb. 25!!! (1^st text ignored) Then, Feb. 26, 2^nd text, ignored. March 2^nd-«Is Friday, March 6 good ?» Yes. March 6-She’s sick, will try for Sun., 8^th-«will text & let you know». Nothing until March 10-how’s Monday, 16^th? So by about noon it was obvious she wasn’t coming & I will start my search over. I may have 2 neighbors who use her, good for them. I told her I’d find someone who knows what the word DEPENDABLE means to which she responded «I understand».
Please note I am NOT the first person to have had an experience like this.

We love Bark Avenue! It is great that they come out to the house. Their new van is great! I have the two fuzziest dogs around. Brandi suggested a rather intense cut to help with the shedding and matting. I was skeptical. She and I texted back and forth with ideas. I trusted her to do what she thought was best. It rocked! They look great! They even feel better. They have more energy and have more fun. They may go to the closet when she walks in, but after the service, she is their best friend.

This is the WORST grooming place I’ve ever used. The reason we wanted to try a mobile groomer is so that our dogs would not have to sit in a cage and they could do one dog at a time. The groomer they sent out was totally unprofessional and most certainly not a «dog friendly» person. He was gruff and insisted that he take all three dogs in the truck and bathe them all together. The other two had to sit in the bathtub in the hot trailer while he cut the first dog’s hair. Meanwhile, the door was left wide open with not even a safety gate if they accidentally got loose. For $ 88 per dog, feel like he could have done one at a time as we asked. To make a long and horrible story short, he got to the second dog, cut half her hair, got into a snit and left without even touching the third dog. Had to run down to Petsmart and buy some clippers to finish the half cut pup.
Brandy sounded great on the phone but she sent this lame guy instead. Do yourself and your dogs a favor and do not use this company. I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint right away.

I hired a professional groomer and they sent a «bather». The trailer was hot. He did an OK job. After my first dog, a 13 year old, I checked her out and she still had mats behind her ears. He took her back out and cut the mats. My second dog came back and I didn’t do a complete check but after he left I had to get scissors out, cut a couple of small mats from behind his ears and noticed that he still had mats on his legs and his nails weren’t trimmed (part of the package). I then checked my first dog and she too had mats on her legs and I’m not sure if they trimmed her nails. I do have to say that they are Chow Chows and needed alot of undercoat brushed out. The bather did a good job on that.

I have the most skittish cat and Brandi is so patient and wonderful with him. While she was at my house, our neighbor had her do their standard poodle. She did an exceptional job and they were most pleased!
