Of all the weird hobbies to have, i got into making balloon art. Balloons were common at every party as a kid, but the first time I saw someone makes swords or giraffes out of them I was hooked. That curiosity started to inflate, and never seemed to pop. As weird as it may sound, I make Balloon art as a full-​time pursuit today. From balloon bouquets to large installations, if you can think it, I can make it. It’s the perfect distinct touch to large corporate events, parties and the like.

My name is Brett Nelson and I am a local balloon artist. I offer balloon creations of all sorts, including gift arrangements and balloon décor for parties and special events. I create everything from small affordable balloon arrangements to large elaborate displays for corporate events. Used them again and called at pretty much the last minute. Brett was great when i changed my mind 5 times, firming it up 2 days before. He got everything set up beautifully, the balloons lasted the entire day (i’m sure longer, but I only saw them that day), and he was able to customize it to exactly what we wanted. I will update with photos once they come back

Brett was so easy and great to work with! I had an elaborate idea and detailed set up with about 20 or so 36″ sphere and 36″ letter balloons for our wedding reception. I sent him all the info and he made it happen. Leading up to the event, he was available whenever I had questions and we had a few phone conversations to thoroughly cover all the details. All the balloons created such an impact in the ballroom and we could not have done it without Brett.

I ordered 10 enormous (36″!) multicolored balloons to serve as the ceremony backdrop for our outdoor wedding in Austin and five smaller balloons for our ring bearer to carry. Balloons ‘N’ Smiles delivered exactly what I wanted. Brett was friendly, responsive, professional, and very easy to work with, especially considering how many times I changed my mind about the order. He helped me get exactly the look I envisioned and the result was just wonderful – festive and colorful. He delivered on time and the price was very reasonable.

Brett is a great guy, very communicative and easy to work with. He did the balloons for our Daughter’s Bat-​Mitzvah and everything was perfect! He listened to what we had in mind as of shape, colors and was very patient. He came to the Bat-​Mitzvah venue on time for setup and I am very pleased to be able to recommend him to other people! Brett was fantastic. We were looking for 100 biodegradeable balloons for a balloon release at my father’s memorial. He was very responsive. Delivered to a SE Austin soccer field on time and his care in meeting our needs really made this little family tradition great. We ideally wanted to keep local and didnt want to deal with party chain store. His prices were very reasonable and truly was helpful while on site. If anyone needs balloons for any occasion, please get with Brett and his company.

Brett at Balloons ‘N’ Smiles was a great person to work with, I recommend him for all your balloon-​related needs!
He agreed to come out to my wedding venue and blow up the giant balloons I had bought, and place them where my crazy self wanted. (He would have brought the balloons if I would have needed him to, but I was just extra prepared and got my own).
He called and confirmed what I wanted done a few days beforehand, he and his dad showed up on time, made sure we liked where the balloons were placed before he left.
And most of all, he made my crazy idea come to life! And I loved it, it was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole wedding.
