Avery Orendorf is a mural artist who paints with a playful, modern simplicity. Her murals transform nurseries, children’s rooms and other spaces into places that welcome, inspire and enliven. Avery works with a variety of clients to transform rooms into creative areas that reflect their lifestyle, environment and personal taste. She crafts and paints with a style that is eye-​popping but not overwhelming, perfectly suitable for any home or business environment.

Wall murals are her specialty. Avery also crafts unique furnishings and other pieces to accent her painted spaces. Her painted furniture, pillows, lampshades and outlet covers are also ideal personalized gifts for friends and family.

History

Established in 2012.

Avery became a full-​time mother in the fall of 2011 after the birth of her second son. She started working as a mural artist and opened Avery O Design to share her love of art in a way that would not interfere with her other full-​time position at home.

Business Owner

Avery studied Fine Arts and English at Clemson University. She lives with her husband and two sons south of the river in Austin, Texas, where she spends her days playing, painting and doing more laundry than she’d like to talk about.
