AutoZone

I went on a Tuesday afternoon. I waited in line for at least 20 min. Every single cashier was moving really Slow. They were in no hurry at all.
Nobody is nice there, they all have that I really wish I wasn’t here right now face on.
I was returning seat covers. I get that they have to check if all the pieces are there. But they checked and then triple checked. And just took WAY to long to do the return.
Also no sense of a line there. If your not aggressive about it people will cut you in line.

Ended up leaving empty handed because there was one employee moving at a snail’s pace helping one guy. Then another employee that just walked straight to the back from the restroom, ignoring all of the customers in the store (there was a line at the register and at the help desk) and sat down. This is at 1:00 on a Monday. I couldn’t imagine what this place looks like when it’s actually high-​traffic hours. Not worth the waste of time.

Everytime I come in here the staff is so nice and helpful. Sometimes they can’t help, but they always take the time & try their best. With a smile! Thanks so much!

This is my to go to store south Austin. Alberto was extremely helpful in helping me change out my radiator hose. I didnt even ask him for help but i think he knew i needed it. For females trying to handle minor car issues on their own its nice to know that there are genuwine people to help you when need it. I definitely recommend this store to anyone who is in south Austin.

Two different experiences recently. First time I came in to get little parts for my car. I was helped by a woman named Cynthia (not sure how she spells it). She was really on top of things, friendly, and seemed to really know what she was talking about. I left very satisfied.
Came in later to pick up something we had had to order last time. This time a young man (I never got his name) helped me. He was nice enough, but he seemed very confused about me picking up a part. While I was waiting to sign for the part, he answered the store phone and put priority over the customer on the phone instead of me even though I was one minute from being able to leave and had been there first. Again, nice enough— just super slow customer service.
Lastly though, I have to brag about Cynthia. When I came back later she helped me put a head light in and kept a great attitude that made me fond of this Auto Zone. I’ve always liked coming to Auto Zone to take care of car stuff and it was refreshing to find someone who made the process quick and positive.

The guys at this Autozone are very friendly and helpful. They helped us get the code from the check engine light and gave us good advice.

Got some codes read here on my vehicle. they came out, read them after 5 tries, told me what they were then walked in and said I should go to the dealer. No prob Bob, see ya later.

I recently came here to buy rear calipers, rotars and break pads. Will say for being mid week and later at night, the store was extremely busy. There was a line for parts and to pay, and it seemed like the staff may have been a bit over whelmed, but they handled it smoothly and the line moved as fast as it could. The hispanic gentleman who helped me was very polite and helpful with getting me my parts.
On my trip back to return the core parts, it was easy and quickly done. I was in and out in under 5 mins.
The staff here seems to be very knowledgeable and courteous. A combination that will bring me to frequent any place.

If u need help gettin somethin fix go to this Auto Zone lastnite my friends car front light when out and there was probly 15mins left for them to close the manager suck he was not tryna help us at all but one of there employees there was veary helpful manager even came outside to tell him that he didnt know what he was doing but he prove his manager wrong and he fix it for us I think he should be the manager great customer servise and his name is JONATHON

What a difference someone who cares can make! This past Saturday I met Phil… the new store manager of Autozone…
My car battery died, and I called Autozone just to see my chances of someone coming out to start it, and the guy said, «Mam, we normally don’t do this but let me check» In 25 minutes Phil, was at my house, jumped my battery and even ran a test and let me know my battery was pretty much dead. He followed me to back to the autozone to make sure I didn’t breakdown. I told him I was so thankful for his service, but I was in a crazyyyy hurry, his store was PACKED with people, and he said NO PROBLEM you will be in and out in 10 minutes. Phil grabbed two people, one to ring me up, and one to pull the items needed, and he ran outside to start the battery exchange. I was paid, and fixed up in 10minutes as promised! Phil prodes himself on customer service and I give him a 10!!! I just wish this store wasn’t on riverside!
I will definately let phil and his happy staff take care of me!

My battery died and I went here to get a new one. NEVER AGAIN!!! Yes, they did install it, but then my car stalled in the parking lot (it was running fine when I came in, had the thermostat and water pump replaced the day before). The guy helping me told me to go home, it was fine. No thanks for shopping with us, no nothing. The check engine light turned on and my car wouldn’t start after that so I was stuck there. The manager comes out and accuses ME of saying their employee sabotaged my car. All I asked was why my car isn’t starting or running! Finally the computer resets (was stuck in idle mode) and I can go. This staff was so unfriendly and rude. I was crying I was so upset that my car wasn’t running as I need it for work and they were cold and rude and completely ignorant. They have lost a customer.

I had the unfortunate luck to have had a dead battery when I tried to leave work today. I got a jump from one of my employees and headed to the closest auto parts store, which happened to be this Autozone.
I asked for assistance from a young male employee who told me he would help me in 5 minutes as he noticed a man behind me that I assumed was a friend due to their interaction laden with frequent cussing and lame attempts to sound cool. I was clearly irritated when he told me to wait while he chatted with his «homie» (his words, not mine). He noticed this and in a sarcastic tone asked if that was ok. Since I had turned off my engine I was pretty much at this idiot’s mercy I told him yes. I wish I got this guy’s name because I’m pretty sure he was the worst employee in customer service history. When he eventually broke away from his chum to help me the banter he had with me was one of the oddest and most offensive I’ve had.
As I held the door open for him to wheel out the battery testing machine thingy, he called me a gentleman (I’m a GIRL) (I should have let the door slam in his face) — Strike 1
As we walked to my truck he commented on smelling weed and described this smell quite vividly using the f-​word around 5 times –Strike 2
He then pointed out my «bad mood» which was 100% due to him –Strike 3
If I wasn’t literally stranded here I would have told him to shove his battery tester thingy up his bum, but I had to suck it up and listen to his inane, ignorant, immature, douchey chatter when all I wanted to do was leave.
I will never return to this Autozone. I would rather attach the battery cables to my nipples to generate enough charge to start the battery next time. I do have to say a couple of good things about the two managers (one hispanic male and one african american female) who were there also. They seemed quite helpful as I observed them help other customers, but I got stuck with doofus. So that justifies the one star, but not much else.
