Cleaner was on-​time, friendly, quick, answered my questions, and explained a few things to me that were helpful. Will definitely be using this service again before we move out!

W.O.W…I think this is the BEST customer service experience I’ve ever had, anywhere!!! I work for a General Contractor here in Austin and I scheduled a last minute house cleaning for a client’s home we’re remodeling. Nina was very accommodating and got us scheduled with 2 ladies the very next day. Then, the same day they were scheduled to come, my job manger called and said the client wants it done the following morning instead… eeek! I called Nina and she was very kind and went above and beyond and got us scheduled the next morning with a 4-​hour time window. She said the price wouldn’t change and the maid’s wouldn’t leave until it was completely finished. I’m very impressed with the last minute scheduling, their GREAT, friendly attitudes and the follow up. Thank you ladies so very much and we’ll be using you for any upcoming services and spreading the word!!! See what good customer service gets you :)

I canceled my cleaning appointment and Austin Maid Service still managed to come the day after I moved out without any announcement. They were let in the house by a «maintenance guy» and cleaned for 3 hours after the house had already been serviced by another cleaning company the day before. Austin Maid Service proceeded to charge me $ 234 which I found on my credit card statement and then refunded the money after placing several calls. The manager I spoke with is a very nice person but clearly has no idea how to work with customers. There are too many great options out there to deal with a sketchy cleaning service and poor customer support, I would look elsewhere if I was you Austinites. God Bless!

I was very satisfied with this service! We were moving from our apartment and really needed help to get it clean. Steve was very professional over the phone — got us an appointment very quickly and gave us a good rate! Ginger arrived exactly on time and immediately began working. She was incredibly thorough and quick. The apartment looked so clean. It was such a relief to not have to worry about cleaning the apartment. I would definitely recommend Austin’s Maid Service and will use again!

Second time to use Austin’s Maid Service. They are very thorough and professional. Also, very friendly on the phone to schedule service and on site. Couldn’t be happier!

I am so thankful to have this service. When I had a problem with leaving the key, they rescheduled and came out right before Christmas! They always leave the house smelling great and it is always orderly. I’m still looking for the service that can read my mind and pick up all my things and put them in the right place… Highly recommend AMS.

I used Austin Maid for several months (winter of 2014 – 2015) before my husband relocated to Florida. My usual maid was Jessica, who was fantastic. She listened carefully to what I needed done, & she always went the extra mile for me. She deserves 5 stars.
However, because we had to be in Florida on short notice, I spoke with Adam at Austin Maids about leaving the key with the man that did the move out clean, I arranged for him to turn the key in at the office. Almost as soon as he showed up, we finished packing the truck & left. A few minutes before we left I received a text from Adam requesting that we hurry up & remove the rest of our belongings so the cleaner could get on with the job. We had about 2 suitcases left to pack that were right by the front door, so I didn’t understand why the cleaner felt he had to call his boss & make that request. The rest of the apartment was empty.
I had asked Adam if he or the cleaner would take pics of the apartment when he was done but Adam said he would be unable to accommodate my request.
About 2 weeks after arriving in Florida we received a statement from Tech Ridge (name of our apartment complex) that we were being charged an extra $ 225 for leaving the apartment for management to clean! This was in addition to the money we paid to Austin Maid service for the move out cleaning. I didn’t bother calling either Tech Ridge or the maid service because I did not see the apartment after it was cleaned, so I had no idea about how good a job was done (or not done). I do realize that if at all possible I should have stayed until the move out cleaning was done, but we were in a time crunch & had to leave ASAP. That was the reason I asked if someone would take pics & email to me.

I have been contacted by the new owner of Austin Maids, Ginger. She assured me the business is more efficient than when under previous management. And Jessica is still there!

I find this company to be always prompt and on time. Vanessa is amazing, she goes above and beyond to be sure your home is as if were hers she was cleaning. She goes out of her way and arranges all the stuffed animals my daughters beds in a very cute way that they love to come home to, that personal touch is what we love! My home is always left smelling like a sentsy shop lol, my wife and I love it! I will certainly continue to use Austin’s maid service as they know how to do business the right way!

We used this company twice. The first time I was pleased with the cleaning, so decided to schedule a monthly service. Unfortunately, the second cleaning (by a different cleaner as the first had left the company) was not at all what we had expected. I ended up spending about 30 minutes going back over our bathroom (back of toilet hadn’t been touched, shower still had obvious soap scum in corners, faucets hadn’t been touched for wipe down, and dust and lint was just pushed behind/​under/​into corners). On top of this, the cleaner scratched our floors when pulling out the oven drawer, which still had dust in it!
I called the company regarding this disappointing cleaning and to report the damage. They apologized and said they would send someone round to view things, When he arrived, he was very nice and reassuring. He took pictures of the damage, the poor cleaning job, and we spoke about what we would do next. He offered to have another cleaner come out to redo the cleaning, but I declined as it had already taken up enough of our day. He then told me that they had a satisfaction guarantee and I was left with the impression some kind of price adjustment would be arranged. We then discussed what to do to fix the floors, I wanted to get our property maintenance guys out to see what had to be done, and this was fine by him. I was told they would follow up. After he left, I submitted a work order with our property. Our guys came out the next day and luckily it was an easy fix. That same day I got an email from the company asking if I was satisfied with the cleaning. Since I was waiting for contact back on the existing problem, I assumed this was just an automated mailing and didn’t reply.
Fast forward 8 days, not only did they charge us the full amount for the poor clean, they made NO contact to follow up. When I sent a disgruntled e-​mail, I received an incredibly rude reply telling me everything they had done on their end (they claimed THEY contacted the property to arrange and pay for the repair – but when they said they did this was after it had already been sorted by myself – and had contacted me and left a message regarding their efforts – no voicemail or call was registered on my cell) and that since I declined their offer to re-​clean, they charged me in full for the first cleaning.
If the less than stellar cleaning and the quick fix repair had been accompanied by polite, timely and considerate customer service, I would have given them another chance. However, the lack of professionalism, follow through and communication I was treated to were shocking, and I would not recommend this company in any way.

I hired these guys to do a deep clean of a friend’s condo before it went on the market. When I went by to check the results I was very pleased. Everything was very clean, neat, and looked great. It also didn’t smell like the house had been doused with chemicals like it does when others had left, which was great. I highly recommend them!

We scheduled a move-​out cleaning, since we were moving out of state and didn’t have it in our schedule to do it ourselves (plus, didn’t want to be exhausted before moving cross-​country).
Austin’s Maid Service did an excellent job — the house sparkled. Our cleaners were Steven and Vanessa.
Our landlord company (April Realty Services) dinged us on EVERYTHING, so we didn’t get much of our deposit back. But it wasn’t due to not cleaning. Unfortunately, they just found every little thing to deduct for and boy, did they. But if we still lived in Austin, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Austin’s Maid Service again.

Honestly just get nothing but compliments from people visiting my home even days after its been cleaned. This company really does deliver what they say they will. Punctual and efficient, friendly and thorough.
And the best part, they are responsive. On the phone and via email Austin Maid Service has been polite, helpful and professional!
I never thought I’d give a maid service such a shining review but there is no question they deserve it!

We were under a tight schedule for a move out and wanted to get our lives started in our new home. We scheduled Austin’s Maid Service to do a move out cleaning. From the beginning, we had great communication. The team that was sent to our home was on time, friendly and professional. I returned a little early and one of the team pulled a chair out of her car for me to sit on (all the furniture had already been moved out) while I waited. The home looked great after they were done! Thank you Austin’s Maid Service for taking some pressure off during this busy time.

Austin maid service was awesome! Christine did an amazing job. The problem is trying to keep it this clean with 2 dogs. I’m afraid to see the bill because it’s so clean and shiny. But all in all everything looks awesome

Look somewhere else! I fully believe that several of the reviews are actual employees posting reviews.
I’ve used this company twice and both times I’ve been disappointed. I wanted to try them again because they offer decent prices. I clean my house twice a week but I wanted a cleaning company to come and do a deep cleaning… clean baseboards, clean ceiling fans, wipe down doors… nothing outside the normal. The lady that they sent to clean my house ran her dusting cloth over the front of my shelves and didn’t remove anything from them. She also failed to dust the 2 guest bedrooms, any pictures on the walls, the ceiling fans, the dining rooms chairs, and my china hutch. I had to go behind her and dust what she missed. I would’ve asked her to do all of the above but she was so slow! My baseboards were not touched. She also didn’t sweep an entire section of my house, but she ran her wet mop over that same section. I also requested that my oven be cleaned and all she did was wipe the top down. She left terrible smudge marks from mopping (I had to go back over and mop my floors myself).
This is not the level of cleaning that I would expect from a professional cleaning company.
It’s not worth my time or energy to contact them again regarding subpar service. Someone needs to retrain the employees on proper house cleaning.

We were extremely pleased with the move-​out cleaning we received from Austin’s Maid Service! The floors, walls, oven and even refrigerator were left SPOTLESS! Additionally, the price was perfect and the company was courteous from the first contact. I highly recommend using Austin’s Maid Service!

I wasn’t going to do this review but it’s really been bothering me so…
For Mother’s Day I told my husband all I wanted was a clean house. Not even subtly, I «hinted» I wanted a deep cleaning. He found Austin Maid Service on Unilocal and scheduled a deep cleaning for our house. I was excited, my expectations were high… maybe too high. I expected baseboards to be cleaned, a/​c vents cleaned, walls/​doors to be wiped down, etc. None of that was done. What I got was a really good «weekly cleaning» not the deep cleaning. My husband made it a point to mention cleaning the mud room and it wasn’t even touched.
With that said, it wasn’t all bad. My floors sparkled, there was no clutter, dishes were done, bed was made but it wasn’t quite what we paid for. And it didn’t seem like 4 hours worth of cleaning. A week later I was on my hands and knees cleaning the baseboards and all the other stuff I expected a deep cleaning to include.
A week or two later they emailed to ask how our service went and my husband replied that we were disappointed. They emailed back an apology and asked him to call them. What??? Why do we have to call you? We already told you we were disappointed, you obviously have our number. What’s stopping you from making the call?
Overall the service was ok but it’s not a company I would use again or recommend to a friend.

Great service. Our cleaner was Nina and she did a great job, and bonded with our dog. We’re going to have her come every 3 weeks.
Everyone I’ve talked to on the phone has been very friendly and professional. Nina came to us on an icy day, and they called to let us know she would be a bit late because of the weather, which was no problem. We have three pets, so a lot of pet hair everywhere, but Nina did a great job. Floors and rugs were nice and clean, clutter was de-​cluttered, and she even did dishes. It’s so nice to wake up to a clean house each morning. Highly recommended.
