History

Established in 2009.

We’re just getting started, but we’re already growing.

When I was working as Director of Marketing at an Austin-​area law firm last year, I noticed that all the proper web design firms wanted over $ 3000 to re-​build our site. I knew we needed our site to look at least as good as, if not way better than, our competitors. However, $ 3000 was out of the question.

Later I learned I could build sites that looked better than 99% of everything that’s out there in less than a week. That’s when I started Austin Web And Design.

Business Owner

I was born in Nova Scotia, raised in California, moved to Austin to attend UT, and now I live here with my amazing wife and son. I graduated from UT in 2000 with two degrees with honors in Advertising and Radio Television Film. I worked as Director of Marketing at Texas PTA where my proudest achievement was the launch of a tool that allowed all 3000 PTAs in Texas to easily build and host their websites for free. I then worked as Director of Marketing at a local law firm and then as Marketing Manager for Sheshunoff Information Services doing their e-​mail marketing.

When I started Austin Web and Design, I was very fortunate to have a few friends who needed websites. They were so pleased, they told their friends, and my little business has taken off from there. If you become my client, my goal will be to make you my next big fan.

I’m convinced the web design industry is experiencing something akin to the industrial revolution and I that am Henry Ford 2.0.
