In 2007, Austin Neuropsychology was established to better meet the needs of our patients, while remaining in the same location as Austin Neurological Clinic.
I liked the doctor but I have never heard of someone charging you for a letter to verify results or for another copy of your report. I feel like they were wanting another co-pay and to waste my time. Billing me for my own reports was a not smart way to go about having positive feelings and to ever want to go to their practice again. Nickle and dime somebody else!

These people are incompetent insurance billers. If you are upset with your results, they will change them for you.

We have been taking out son to Dr. Melissa Bunner for 12 years. My son was diagnosed with several handicaps such as auditory processing disorder and struggles with comprehension. He had problems with noises at 3. We noticed he couldn’t handle loud music or loud noises in general. We were referred to Dr Bunner. At age 5 he was starting first grade. He became ARD qualified. We took him to her before each school year to compare ARD test results to a private practice. Each year we followed the same routine and was 160% happy and satisfied with her results and professionalism. He is 17 and sitting in her office today testing. She had been a God send and blessing. As a parent it has brought relief and peace to mind and heart knowing she has been every step of the way with him. Thank you Dr Bunner, your greatly loved and highly favored. The Hardmans

I would never want to recommend Dr. Bunner for neurological testing. She misdiagnosed my daughter at age 6 with a «language delay». I even mentioned the family history of dyslexia(her father and uncle). She said with extra help she would catch up to her peers. By 3rd grade she continued to fall behind in reading and I did not know she needed to be taught with a different approach or that she may need a certified language therapist. After another evaluation, it was clear that she did have dyslexia. Early intervention is important, and had I known, I would have searched for a more specialized tutor who understood the correct teaching methods. We are still trying to catch up to her peers and it has had an impact on her confidence in school. I wish more people would consider the importance and of early and correct diagnosis.

We took our young son to Dr. Nancy Nussbaum to assess his neurodevelopmental functioning. We heard that she was the best in town and she proved to be just that. She had a wonderful rapport with our son, he felt very comfortable during the many hours of testing, she explained the assessment results to us in great detail, and she offered us sage recommendations. Dr. Nussbaum and her very professional staff exceeded our expectations and we would give her more than 5 stars, if possible.

We took my 3yo daughter here for an evaluation. I was completely impressed with this office. Dr. Nancy Nussbaum and Emily made my daughter feel so comfortable. They took her on a tour prior to her«real» appt. When we arrive my daughter was ready to go back with them, without me. Amazing! Our follow up appt to go over results was extremely beneficial to me as a parent. It reinforced what I have been doing is working and I left with a number of things to further her education. Great experience would recommend.

Horrible, horrible, horrible office staff. Dr Bunner is nice enough, but her office staff needs to be replaced. They not only don’t know what they are doing, but will lie to your face about billing, insurance and payments. For that reason alone, I would run, not walk…
