I really wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. When I first called, I got a quick response and was able to drop my mower off for repair and update. But then things went downhill from there. After my drop-off, I was told it would only take 3 days. On day 4, I hadn’t heard anything, so I called. Five days later I got a call back after I called multiple times. Not very good service. I had originally dropped of the mower because gas was leaking from the tank. Upon the call back, I asked if they had discovered the problem and he had not addressed the issue. What?! After I was finally able to arrange to pick up the mower, I was told there is a 30-day warranty on the service. I had one good use of the mower and upon second use the gas tank leaked again and worse than originally. So I called. I called on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and it is now Friday with no call back, hence time to let the world know about the bad customer service I am receiving. My messages were pleasant as I always try to give anyone the benefit of the doubt, but I can no longer. Stay clear of this so called«business». You may or may not ever see your mower again.

This company, I believe owned by Royla is good. They work with you and your budget. No one is perfect, let’s tolerate one another. They did what I wanted them to do. They fixed my lawnmower. Thanks. David Austin TX

Terrible customer service! Avoid these guys. Called these guys about a mower they had for sale on their website(a Honda). The guy said they had just sold it. Sure. .. . it’s still listed for sale on their website. My mower wasn’t working so I was eager to get these guys to work on it. I said I was in South Austin and wanted to deliver the mower to their location, which I thought was downtown based on their website address. The address is complete fabrication, something about using that to improve their Google searching. The guy said their dropoff was off of I-35, near Braker. Ok, no problem, I’ll just take it there. The guy said no can do, he’ll be in Oakhill. Well great, I work in Oakhill, maybe I can meet him there? No, seems the times aren’t going to work out right be he’ll have someone call me to talk about my mower issue. Nobody called me back. I call him back the next day, ask if we can meet in Oakhill, he says maybe doable, he’ll call me back. No call back. Finally next day I just want to take the mower to their shop and left messages on their voicemail. Nobody calls back, even after multiple messages left. Which is odd in that the first time I called them earlier in the week I didn’t even leave a message but the called me back within 10 minutes. After all that I decide that they guys are worthless and don’t care about my business. Most of their reviews are great, but one recently was bad so here’s another one to add to that list.

These guys are awesome. They got my mower running in a couple of days and even put a housing cover on it free of charge. They are extremely knowledgeable and spoke with me in depth about mower care and preventing future problems. Stellar guys. If I ever have a mower or small engine problem I wont go anywhere else. Thanks again guys!

Seemed like a nice guy on the phone. Offered me three options to have my mower repaired; 1.) Wait two weeks to have someone come on site to repair the mower .2) Charge an extra $ 40 for him to come pick it up. 3.) Bring it to him and only pay for the repair. I opted to bring it to him. I thought it was unusual for him to ask me to bring it to a storage place instead of his shop. But to make it worse, he never replied to my emails, phone numbers and text messages when I tried to arrange a time to drop it off. Eventually the next day I called him back and arranged again for a drop off. I at the agreed upon time and waited 30 minutes for a no show. No replies to emails, phone calls or text messages. What a waste.

I hadn’t used my lawn mower in a long time, since I had been using a friend’s service to take care of that for a while. Now I’ve decided to just go back to doing it myself instead of paying a premium for someone else to do it for me. Enter my mower– a good model, just about 10 years old. When I took it out of the garage and primed it a couple times, pulled the starter about 5 or 6 times and nada. Tried priming it a few more times, even holding the button down a few seconds and finally after several more pulls it grudgingly came to shaky life. It could use a bit of TLC. After looking online at some of the mower service shops and calling around, everywhere had at least a week wait on appointments and charged hourly rates and diagnostic fees and more. I happened upon Austin Mobile Mower Repair online and their rates were reasonable, especially since I wouldn’t have to pack up the mower and take it to a shop. I called to see what the wait for an appointment is and was told they could easily get me an appointment in a couple days, which was when I needed it. The guys came out, took the machine out to their truck, took it apart, sharpened the blade, cleaned it up and when they were done it took me only 1 pull of the starter to get it going again. They gave me some pointers on how to care for the mower– how to change the oil, when to do it, what type to use. They also will take any metal you don’t want and haul it off for you, and you get discounts for referrals, off season maintenance and getting your neighbors to share in your service call.
