With a master’s degree in applied mathematics, and over 20 years teaching experience at various levels (high school and university), I offer a unique combination of knowledge and coaching skill that is unmatched in the Austin area.
Most of all, I offer help in mathematics that goes far beyond that of a traditional teacher. Instead of teaching an esoteric system of rules, I help you leverage your own experience and common-sense to achieve a more intuitive understanding of math. I provide concrete examples, pictures, and tools that bring mathematical concepts to life.

History
Established in 1988.
I have been teaching and tutoring mathematics at a variety of levels for over 20 years at a variety of levels — from high school math courses through graduate level courses. I received a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from UT Austin in 1999, and have continued teaching in the Austin area ever since. For you, this means that, not only do I know mathematics at a deep level — I know how to teach it!

I have a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, and over 20 years experience teaching and tutoring all levels of math (Middle School, High School, University and Postgraduate). I am passionate about math — and even more passionate about helping others learn the subject.
