This is what makes living in Austin so amazing. Learning different things from people who want to teach and with others who want to learn. You won’t find me by myself in my house watching a YouTube instructional video anymore.

This is a great opportunity to learn about what other people are creating and doing in Austin! Kaley, the founder, creates a welcoming environment with the teachers and with all her participants. I have taught a two pickling classes and two jam classes and I have enjoyed collaborating with Austin Learnshop. This organization is professional and well organized, which eases some of the stress of teaching a class. Can’t wait to see what classes she has next!

I attended the recent weaving class and it was a lot of fun! The teacher was very knowledgeable and helpful. We learned quite a bit in a short amount of time and the atmosphere was social and light. Kaley, the creator of Austin Learnshop, is passionate about her venture and making sure everyone has a great experience. I will definitely take another class.

Jam workshop on 10⁄14 was awesome. So much fun meeting like-​minded people, jam was delicious, and instructor and hostess were amazing. Venue at Chicon’s Collective was very «Austin». Can’t wait to make my next LearnShop!

Just did the pickling workshop last night, and it was great! We had a nice sized group, but everyone was able to leave with a pint jar of soon-​to-​be pickled fresh, local veggies! The class had a lot of great information, and I look forward to our follow up email with specific directions (not having to take notes freed us up to socialize and just have fun).
