Austin Learning Solutions specializes in one-​to-​one training focused on the student’s actual areas of deficiency. Unlike the best tutoring efforts, our therapeutic programs cause the brain’s neural connections to develop, improving cognitive abilities (processing skills). Individualized programs, based on assessment of each student’s reading and cognitive skills are recommended, with options designed to fit the needs of each family.

History

Established in 1997.

A Texas Certified Special Education teacher, Ann Conolly was frustrated that too many students were in each class, so no real progress was happening for these smart, but learning-​challenged kids! Wanting to help students to rise above their learning problems, she began teaching an outside-​the-​box reading method at her own kitchen table after school hours in August of 1997. In 2000, training in the PACE program (for Processing and Cognitive Enhancement) was the key to make truly life-​changing progress for her students!

Since 2010, Ms. Conolly has officed in the Westlake area of Austin. Wanting to have the latest and most successful programs for her private students, she has advanced her own education with cutting-​edge program certification courses. That original outside-​the-​box reading method continues to be interwoven effectively with PACE, sound therapy, auditory processing and other cognitive skills training in her practice.

Austin Learning Solutions began in 1997 as a home-​based business while Ann was rearing her son in the Eanes school district. In the sixteen years since, Ann Conolly has provided effective one-​to-​one training for hundreds of private clients of all ages.
