The Austin Art + Music Partnership (AAMP) is a nonprofit organization created to nurture and protect the creative process. Our 7,000 square-foot studio warehouse, just a few blocks from the popular South Congress (SOCO) strip off South First Street, provides support for local creatives by providing them with space and resources to develop their projects and ideas. History
Established in 2008.
Founded by Peyton Wimmer and Aaron Willams, formerly of the SIMS Foundation, AAMP has provided thousands of hours of space and support to around 150 different Austin artists, nonprofits and community groups. This will only grow with your support. We created a model of giving that utilizes the creative capital of time and energy to maximize the financial capital we must spend in these hard economic times. By leveraging our creative capital, we can boldly address the needs of our community and support the arts in one effort.

Business Owner
As a serial social entrepreneur, Peyton co-founded the Austin Art + Music Partnership in 2008 to support and nurture the creative process for artists in the City of Austin, TX to better mine Creative Capital and directly benefit the community. Previously, Peyton worked as the Founding Director of the SIMS Foundation where he created the programs and service model that brought health and stability to the music community of Austin. In addition, Petyon worked as one of the founding members of the Austin Musicians Clinic Project (or Medicino) to establish medical services for the Austin music population in honor of legendary Texas musician Doug Sham. Peyton also developed the service delivery model developed for S.A.H.M. or (Soulful Alliance for Healthy Musicians coined by Austin American Statesman writer Michael Corcoran in 2003) that continues today as a separate project.
