Austin Affair

Megan is the best! We used her for our wedding back in May. At first we were uneasy about the cost of her services since we had never used a planner before, but for everything she did for us, her services were more than worth it!
Megan was our day-​of planner, but she went above and beyond that role in every way. We met with her before the day to plan everything out. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant did everything from physical labor and help decorating to managing vendors and family members. She made sure every detail was taken care of from setup to tear down. She even made sure we ate at the reception and had a fresh drink in our hand all night! I did not have to worry about a thing, and I was able to just have fun and spend precious time with my friends and family members.
Megan is professional, organized, diligent, a problem-​solver, and even has an artistic eye that made everything look polished and perfect. She knows how to handle anything that is thrown at her. I am more than confident that Megan and her team can handle any event. I would recommend her to anyone. My only regret was not using her for the full planning package!

WOW. I was lucky enough to connect with Austin Affair founder Megan Moran Cobb in the last homestretch of my wedding planning, and what she did for us is beyond words. Megan was sharp as a tack, creative as hell, firm with our vendors, adorable and charming around our friends and family, and happy to get her hands dirty — hanging décor and scaling ladders one minute, then whooshing in with the relaxed grace of a socialite when the party started.
I cringe to remember how opposed I once was to hiring a wedding planner. Had we called her sooner, I know Megan would’ve saved us thousands in vendor fees, or at least the equivalent in stress. Before she took over, I also put off a lot of work and job hunting in order to plan this event, so there are real career opportunities I missed that I would’ve had time to embrace had I just called this friendly dynamo from the START.
And she is just as skilled at planning wild and luxurious bachelor/​bachelorette parties and other events. What a pro.

I wanted to plan my wedding, but quickly realized that I was way in over my head. Thankfully, a friend recommended Austin Affair. From the first meeting with Megan I felt like she was really listening to the vision I had for the wedding. I am a person that knows what she likes, but making that all come together is not my forte. I showed her pictures and ideas, and she went to work to find the perfect venue. We wanted quaint and intimate for around 50 people. She hit the nail on the head with perfect place. She also coordinated the most beautiful flowers and all the rental seating etc. we needed. I would have been a basket case, but instead I was focused on marrying the love of my life! Thank you for the PERFECT wedding! It was all due to great communication between us and Megan! I highly recommend Austin Affair for your next event!

I’ve never been the type of person who planned for parties. I always just kind of let them happen and hoped for the best. That all changed when I used Austin Affair. Top to bottom, this is the most professional event planning service I’ve ever used. I find myself looking for excuses to plan events in Austin now which I may have otherwise looked to have elsewhere.
