Liars. Go somewhere else. If there were any way, any way at all, that I could subtract stars from this particular AT&T dealer, I would. If it was possible to telepathically send a message to everyone in Austin to avoid this place — at all costs, I would do it in a heartbeat. They are absolutely, deliberately, without redemption — the worst business I have dealt with in the past ten years. And I nearly got charged $ 2000 for an air conditioner that was still under warranty. THAT company was miles and years better than the unprofessional, unethical and unapologetic staff at this store. First, they said I couldn’t keep my grandfathered unlimited plan with the 128 gb phone. NOTTRUE. Then, they didn’t have the phone I wanted, when I, like a complete dumbass, believed them. When I asked them if they could call other stores to see if any other place had them — they said, yea… they checked and no one had them. They took my information and told me they would order the phone and I should come back … in a week. I said okay — just to get the fuck out of there. And, I went to another store — the one in South Austin, on 71. THEY said — no problem. Got the phone. You can keep your unlimited. Oh, but wait — you’re not eligible for an upgrade. Says here — you’ve already got a new phone this afternoon. And — you switched plans. No, I said. I didn’t. I’m not even gonna list the rest. Turns out the lying, unscrupulous — strictly out for profits salesman at the Capital Plaza AT&T, he put a lock on my phone, put his name on it and just laid waste to my plan. But … hey! Good news. When I went back the next day to bitch about it — they said they had received a shipment of the exact phones I wanted that morning(probably). I can get one now. Well, I didn’t want one now and I waited there — for FOUR hours and they couldn’t take the lock off of my phone. You know, I’m still so disgusted and this happened back in February — that I’ll just leave it here. They’re worth no more of my time or energy.

Quick note to customers to let you know I’m a time warner cable customer who happened to meet Justin Fatuch who was so courteous and understanding(great listening skills) that I switched to AT&T… I strongly recommend you give him a call with questions.

Good good. I got a cheap go phone the other day. Its actually amazing how cheap a go phone is.(compared with my smart phone with data etc) — Did cell phone prices always use to be upwards of $ 100 a month for 1 line? Mine is, but this crappy go phone is $ 15bucks, and 30 a month for calls! But im not going to give up my iphone and internet — Kinda makes you think, right? ;)

Refused to answer their phones. This is the second AT&T store that I’ve tried to contact that simply refuse to answer their phone’s. If a business will not even answer their phone and my opinion they’re not going to be much help.

Tried to take care of everything over the phone but had to go into the store. Came in on a Monday morning and they told me there was a 30 min wait. I have now been here well over 1:30 hrs.

I was trying to to take advantage of the Mobile Share savings AT&T is offering until 10⁄31. I go into the store to get some questions answered since the fine print was a little confusing. I wait for about half an hour to speak to someone. I have a two year contract and my own phone, and wasn’t interested in upgrading or changing to the ‘Next program’. The woman was extremely unhelpful and wouldn’t go over my plan or the changes I was looking at specific to my plan. I finally got her to take a look at what I was considering changing to and asked how having a two year contract vs a monthly installment plan would affect it. She wrote out some numbers on a plan sheet and ASSURED me that if I changed from the $ 109 plan to the $ 85 plan that it would actually cost me $ 127 a month and that I would need to pay an extra monthly fee for the phone that I currently own. None of it made any sense and I just left and came home to look at the fee sheet she had given me, but, oh hey, it’s in Spanish. Spanish is a great language, I just don’t speak it. I finally got online with an agent over chat who was extremely helpful and actually seemed interested in helping me find a more economical plan. There were no extra fees and no pressure to upgrade, and I’m saving about $ 25 a month now, which is awesome. I would avoid the store at all costs.

They are way under staffed. Be prepared to wait in line while they service ghetto customers with ghetto problems. Never come 7−8pm. This is the 3rd time i’ve come here during these hours and have waited 25+ min every time.

I’ve been here several times in the last two weeks dealing with a broken iPhone, and then an issue with an expensive case that didn’t work right. This store is busy, but the staff has been patient and helpful. I don’t know her name, but the woman working the«welcome desk» Monday afternoon, August 26th was especially friendly and accommodating.

I always dread having to go to the phone store, no matter what. My latest visit was to change my Vermont number to a local Austin number. I was prepared for an hour of nonsense, up selling, contract renegotiation, tears and possibly some blood. I was pleasantly surprised. 15 minutes round trip. I had some questions about my bill and also wanted to check out some cases. Rob expertly handled all of my requests and I was on my way — happy camper here!

Oh my god some seriously poorly trained people work here. My husband and I went in to try out the differences between two phones and had to deal with the most airheaded and lazy sales rep I have ever dealt with. She actually had the gall to text on her iPhone while we were trying to ask her about the phones we were considering buying. She didn’t listen to, answer, or even friggin acknowledge any of our questions and just stared into her phone or walked off whenever we tried to get her attention. I’m actually on my third hour long phone call to AT&T about my text messages and voice mail not working and they’re saying it’s likely because of a damaged SIM card because it was installed improperly. NOWWHOINSTALLEDTHATSIMCARD? Airhead iPhone girl with her unprofessional super long nails!

I had a great time at this store. Vincent is amazing. We ended up at this store after the jackasses at the store on 5th street ignored us for 45 minutes. Vincent got all of our stuff hooked up and ready. Then he got us an install date that was incredibly quick and at the perfect time. If I ever have to go back, it would be to this location only.

By far the nicest phone company staff I’ve met. This place is kind of hard to find. It’s located on the east side of I-35, right under the Chase Bank building, by the Capitol Plaza [Target, Office Max, etc.] I came here yesterday after the sim card in my phone crapped out. The staff was really nice about helping me get my phone-life back on track. The staff helped me with a new sim card, and although they couldn’t retrieve any of the information on my old sim card, the guy was more than willing to print out my most recent called numbers. While the staff was busy resurrecting my phone, I noticed how great their service was towards other customers who were planning on purchasing a phone/phone accessory. And before I knew it, I was out the door with my phone working once again! It was a nice change of scenery, a wireless phone company staff who is nice to you. I guess I’ve gotten use to the ginormous Houston ATT wireless store that treats you as a number /sale and not a real person.
