The food here is totally authentic. The service was a little slow, but the food was so worth the wait.

We were out playing at the park with our 4 year old son. We decided to look in Wells Branch for a Chinese place and stumbled on this place. We walked in and not overly decorated but the waiter greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. We ordered an a cream cheese appetizer. YUMMY, yummy! My son chowed down on the chicken fried rice. I had chicken with cashews and my husband chicken with peanut sauce. Large portions and very flavorful. My husband really enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely go back!

I noticed this place had sprung up in place of Chon Som, a place I enjoyed thoroughly. This new place with its vague name and disproportionately small sign compared to the building piqued my interest so I went in for lunch. First impressions, nearly all the furniture was left behind from Chon Som, but the décor has changed to Chinese paintings and robes. It might just be the fact I never came during the day where the floor was lit up, but it looks as if the finish was removed and left that way. The sushi bar hasn’t been touched and looks really out of place since they don’t sell sushi. I was the only person there when I ate and it just kinda seemed sterile with a side of slightly derelict. I ordered the pad thai and got the yellow curry soup option(you could get it or a salad). The soup was watery with a little celery, a little chicken, and a few bean sprouts. The flavor was okay, but it didn’t have any substance, I’m glad it was free with the lunch, I wouldn’t buy it on its own. The Pad Thai was served with a scoop of white rice, a mini spring roll, and a mini saucer of what I think was sweet an sour sauce. It also came with a lime, bean sprouts and… What? No cilantro? Well, it tasted alright, of course it’s really hard to screw up pad thai. The portion size was good and I took some home with me for lunch the next day. Overall, I’m not impressed. I’ll try their dinner menus before fully judging though
