The best I’ve ever had. Thorough cleaning and xrays. Detailed explanations and recommendations. Cool tips I’ve never heard before about flossing. I highly recommend them. The new patient appointment takes about two hours, which they tell you in advance. The time is well worth it. I had a painless cleaning experience and I think that is because they don’t rush it. Very gentle.
The office is clean and family-​friendly with books and other entertainment for the kiddos. Very well maintained. Staff is friendly and they handle all the insurance stuff so I didn’t have to even pay a copay today.

This review is actually for Brenda, the dental technician who cleaned my teeth, took x-​rays, and who educated me about the importance of flossing, brushing for at least two minutes and brushing well before going to bed. I highly recommend her. She cares about her patients and is very detailed and thorough in cleaning my teeth and examining them with x-​rays. I did meet Dr. Mendez, and he was very nice, but I had longer contact with Brenda. I used a Groupon deal, and it was well worth it.

To be honest, I’d give Dr. Mendez between 2 and 3 stars. While he was very nice, he seemed a little spacey. He and his team had some technical difficulties with my x-​rays, which did not instill a lot of confidence. He also had difficulty clearly explaining to me the kind of treatment that I needed. I also felt as though I was being sold things while I was there, which I didn’t appreciate.
After getting some fillings, I had to come back twice for him to adjust my bite. While I was experiencing no tooth pain before getting the fillings, my teeth are now extremely sensitive. I went to another dentist to make sure the work he did was okay, and the other dentist showed me that they had left a pocket inside one of the filling sites, which has the potential to get infected later, but was too risky to go in and fix now as it was very close to my tooth nerve. I was disappointed that my fillings were not done well.
That being said: 5 stars for one of his assistants, Ricky. I have high anxiety about getting anything more than a cleaning done, and he helped calm me down a lot. He also introduced me to something called the «dental vibe» that they use there. It’s a vibrating rod they put in your cheek during Novocain injections that distracts you from feeling it too much. I’ve contemplated going back there for my next dental work, despite my low review, just to be able to have that. It gave me a lot of peace.

Going to a new dentist can be a frightening experience for anyone. So many unknowns to deal with. I’ve never felt more welcome and relaxed in a dentist’s office. The entire staff is amazing and caring. My hygienist, I believe her name is Brenda, was so gentle and sweet and kind. I felt no pain whatsoever. I’m having a little bit of work done over the course of this month and the next, and so my bill is a little costly, but they were very willing to work with me on a payment plan. I can’t extol their virtues enough. I highly recommend Dr. Mendez for all your future dental needs!

Great Location! Organized Office Staff! & Awesome Dentist! I appreciated that I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment like most Doctor offices. I was in and out pretty quickly!

Not only is he great the entire staff is just awesome.
And I have to say I LoVe Brenda my teeth had never-​ever felt so clean. I used to avoid cleanings for as long as I could but not anymore. Call me crazy but Im actually exited for my up coming appointment. No joke.

I visited Dr. Mendez on a friend’s recommendation, after having dental work done over the past 5 years at two other dental offices. After this experience, I’m sold on Dr. Mendez and his staff. Every staff member who worked with me was friendly, patient with my questions (and willing to ANSWER all my questions, which is becoming a lost art), and extremely helpful. They all seemed to take joy in their work, and it made my experience much better.
After an exam, I was taken from the chair to a screen where I was shown photos, NOT X-​Rays, of the teeth with concerns. I have never been able to see clearly on X-​Rays what the doctors see, so having photos was very helpful. No other office has done that for me.
I had 3 broken fillings that needed work, which required numbing the area. I hate the pain of injections, but Dr. Mendez used this little vibrating instrument on my gums during the shots. I didn’t feel a thing! Awesome.
Dr. Mendez was very thorough and professional, and got the work done really quickly. He also took the time to clean up some trouble/​rough spots on a crown another dentist had done previously.
I’m very happy with the experience and the results. Dr. Mendez is my dentist from now on.
