Dr. Reddy is a wonderful doctor. He is patient and very thorough with his diagnosis and treatment. After 34 years of suffering from major allergies I finally took steps to relieve the pain and I am so lucky to have found Dr. Reddy. I cannot recommend him enough. He is very interested in treating allergies with immunotherapy that is tailored to your specific allergies, but if you need immediate relief he will proscribe meds for that while you wait to get the serum. The staff is very caring and kind too. Thanks!

I had an awful experience at this office. This review does not reflect Dr. Reddy, as I was not able to meet with him. The staff at this office is abysmal and is obviously driving patients away. I should not have scheduled an appointment here based on the my initial contact with the receptionist. Please look at the reviews for this clinic on multiple sites before booking.
When I first called to see if my insurance was accepted, the receptionist treated me like an inconvenience instead of a customer. I felt like I was the one providing the customer service to her as I thanked her and let her know I really appreciated her taking the time to check. There was plenty of availability and I was able to choose from multiple times for my appointment (now I know why…).
Upon my arrival, I was not greeted and was not worthy of a smile from the receptionist. I was asked if I had the new patient forms. Since I was not given any… no. I did not. I was given an incredibly long questionnaire. As I was waiting, an elderly lady came in. She was ignored by the receptionist, so she walked up to the door way where you could hear several staff members chatting and laughing. She asked a question and no one got up to approach her to speak to her like they should. They directed her to a phone number that was posted on the door. It was obvious that the woman was confused and would have appreciated having some questions answered. I found this very disrespectful– especially coming from a customer focused industry.
The guy that took my vitals and such was actually super nice. However, when it came to the allergy testing (which was the point of my appointment) they asked if I had taken any allergy meds in the past 5 days. Since I am there BECAUSE I have horrible allergies, the obvious answer was yes. I was told (and this is when I am already in a gown lying on my stomach with all the testing about to begin) that I would have to reschedule. I had taken time off of work and had already been at the office for 40+ minutes. I was NOT told on the initial contact that I needed to avoid allergy meds for 5 days. I would definitely have followed these directions.
This is what really irked me: As I walked out of the exam room, all 5(?) members of the staff, AND the Dr, simply stared at me wide eyed as I walked out. NOBODY offered to speak to me, offer an apology, or attempted to reschedule. I was appalled.
As I got to my car I thought I’d go back in to double check that I wouldn’t get charged for this major waste of time. I inquired on the staff training and requested that they make sure they inform clients about the antihistamines when making appointments as to not waste peoples time. She rudely responded saying that she personally made all the appointments and informs clients on the new patient forms on the website and to not take antihistamines– BOTH of which I was not told about. I left there wondering how they can have somebody so unpleasant interacting with their patients.
I checked some reviews online and found people complaining of the EXACT same thing– the rude receptionist and the fact that their time was wasted because they weren’t informed of pertinent information. Definitely worth driving a little farther and waiting a little longer to be seen by a competent allergy clinic.

Awful Allergist!!! Do NOT go to this office. The receptionist was extremely short and rude with me, did not smile once. My appointment was at 1:15 and I wanted to be seen for a potential food allergy, and wanted the skin test. I was admitted into an exam room, and told the nurse I had accidentally taken an antihistamine, and asked if I could still have the skin test. She said it was case by case and the doctor would let me know. They then administered an asthma test, put me into another room and I did not see a doctor for TWO HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. Then the doctor told me I could not have the skin test and that it would not be accurate. Rude, wasted my time and money. Never apologized for the VERY LONG WAIT. I didn’t leave the office until almost 4:00. I will never go to this allergy clinic again.

Dr. Reddy may know his stuff, but our experience with the staff has been awful. Not only did they lose my daughter’s serum when it was sent back by her campus student health service for the winter break, they consistently fail to communicate with us if there’s a problem refilling prescriptions. More than once, we’ve had to have the pharmacy send multiple attempts for authorizations. Find another allergist! I would if we weren’t so financially committed now.

I made my husband an appt here because he has HORRIBLE allergies and for some reason would rather suffer than make himself a doctor’s appt. He had a bad experience with another allergist who was absolutely no help at all but I convinced him to try this place. Thank goodness! Dr. Reddy is incredibly nice, informative and willing to figure out what’s going on to help you. After chatting and determining some good first steps, he was able to give some options that are working out fairly great so far.
so, hesitate no more, this guy is top notch.

When I first moved to Austin, all was well… sneeze free for a long time, pretty tolerant of animals. I was warned that the cedar would get me eventually.
I have been immunized for years, and I needed a new doctor once I moved to Austin. My Dallas allergist recommended Dr. Uday K. Reddy at the Allergy and Asthma Clinic of Central Texas (MoPac location). Dr. Reddy is a swell, personable, knowledgeable guy with a great bedside manner. I had no idea that there were alternatives for my condition other than Albuterol and Zyrtec. With my symptoms, allergies to everything but Jesus, he recommended I try some alternatives: Symbicort and no daily antihistamine. With his shot regimen, my allergies and Asthma are really under the best control they’ve ever been in. And I live in AUSTIN with 55 cedar trees in my yard.
The nurses are awesome. They are always glad to see me, like to joke around, and give me the most pain-​free shots they can. Way to go!
The only issue I had with them was a reception inst who has since left them. She was a nightmare because she could never explain my bill to me when there was an insurance issue. She just let it sit there and let me deal with it. Since she is gone, I reimbursed the clinic their otherwise lost star.
They also have really good magazines.
