All About You

I’ve been coming to «All About You» for a couple of years now, and they consistently deliver excellent service. Hot stones and bath scrubs are part of the basic pedicure service, and hot wax and scrub for basic manicure. Water bottles are complimentary as well, and at the end of your service you receive a quick upper back/​neck/​head massage too. They really offer a lot for the price– I’d highly recommend it.

Got a shellac manicure and eyebrow wax here this weekend. It was POPPIN’ like a P. Diddy party circa 2004. My roommates and I were able to beat the crowds but when we left there were people who were waiting for like 30 minutes at least. They didn’t turn anyone away– which is nice but then you can sometimes waste someones time.
My nails look great and I liked the massage the manicurist gave me when they were drying.
For my brows the lady did a good job but the wax was HOT.
I’ll be back though because for my nails and my brows it was only $ 42 total. I thought that was a really great deal!

I would’ve given All About You 5 stars but there are a few things I want to share and give a suggestion about.
I love that they give you a double service at the same time don’t get me wrong. Anything that’ll be relaxing and efficient time wise and nail wise I’m all about it. But having to reach over with my right arm when my nails are getting done is super uncomfortable. My shoulder was starting to cramp and it was actually really painful having to hold my arm up every time my right hand was being worked on.
I’m not too fond of the interior in there. I wish the paint colors on walls were more inviting and warm. They also had the door open because it was a beautiful day and the sun was shining but man were there a lot of flies. It took away from the relaxing ambiance a bit.
Ok now for the good stuff. My finger nails look fabulous. Shout out the younger guy with nice hair for a great Gel Manicure. The paraffin on the hands is a nice last step to end the service.
My toe nails look awesome too. The woman who did them gave me a great Deluxe Pedi, with the orange scrub and paraffin wax spa steps. I got the hot stones too which were at the perfect heated temperature I swear. They really know what they’re doing. And they are so personable and funny. The atmosphere from their energy is really worth it.
You get a massage pretty much the whole time you’re there. Between the arm massage, leg massage, foot and hand massage, they also give you a neck shoulder and upper back massage while you’re drying!
I was going to try LV nails but after the reviews about it being crowded and not personal enough, I totally came here instead.
You’ll be satisfied and realize it really is All About You.

Made an appointment on a Saturday morning for my fiances mother and her family for a 50^th anniversary party. We all got the deluxe package and had a great time. Great place and great prices!!! Very friendly helpful staff!!! I am so glad I found this place.

I dropped in here on a whim. I decided to get a mani pedi and try the gel nails at that. I ended up loving my gel nails and the pedi was good too (just nothing stand out for the price). I may be back if I’m in the neighborhood.

This place is usually busy, but they do a good job in making sure everyone is taken care of on time. They provide water and a short massage. Friendly staff.

I brought 8 bridesmaids here in August for my wedding, and everyone was really pleased with their nails! I got the gels for my fingers, and they stayed on and in perfect condition for 3 weeks! I finally had to peel them off on my honeymoon!

Awesome place to go get a mani and/​or pedi. Great prices and not only will your nails look great your legs and feet will feel great after the hot rock massage. Plus they finish with a nice little neck and shoulder massage.

I went to this place last night for the first time and had a pretty great experience.
The color selection for shelac was extensive and neatly organized.
The only bad thing was this place accepts appointments even when they’re full, my friend and i both had apts for 5:30 and weren’t seen till 6, however they made up with time as we had to be out of there by 7.
for 30 $ you get shelac polish a paraffin hand rap, back massage and hand massage.
from now on I’m only going here but will make sure to call ahead

This is my «go to «place for acrylics. It is crazy fast, professional, and they do a great job. I have always been able to be fitted in for a walk in, but I have seen them ask people to return later because they do get very busy on the weekends. This isn’t a luxury place, and so I won’t review them as such. I don’t come here to be pampered, I come here for fast, affordable, and respectful service. They always win out in that regard.

Thorough, relaxing service in a clean environment! I got a pedicure here for the first time and I will definitely be coming back! They’re kind of a treat for me, but All About You has exceedingly reasonable prices. Today was $ 28 for a «standard» pedi — turns out that includes a calf scrub, hot stone massage, and a shoulder massage while my toes dried in addition to the standard stuff! Suuuuper impressed!
More importantly, my feet look great! There’s a nice coat of polish, but really I’m here to for the file & buff part — they did great! My skin is super smooth and my nail beds look great! I’ve found my new go-​to place!

It was my first time at «All about you». I got a $ 30 Shellac mani (+ $ 5 tip). The experience was good as my nails were done really beautifully. I’m giving it 4 stars only as the nails were done with a visible gap between my cuticles and the red shellac (you can clearly see it on the photo taken right after my nails were done) which I consider cheating so that a client comes back sooner. Since shellac doesn’t chip leaving the gap from the get go forces the client to come back sooner. I’ll give it another try and next time I’ll ask for the Shellac to be applied as normal nail polish right at the root of the nail. Other than that I appreciated that I was taken as a walk in on Friday at 6pm. And I appreciate the technician who was very detail oriented.

Hong and her mom did my pedicure and shellac manicure and were AMAZING. I went in there for the first time this afternoon and I am so impressed with their attention to detail. My nails look fantastic. For the basic pedicure Hong spent so much time making sure they were perfect, and massaged my feet and legs with oil and hot stones. Her mom (didn’t catch her name) did my manicure, and she was also fantastic. After painting my nails she too massaged my hands and soaked my hands in paraffin wax. I’ve never had this done before, and it was so nice! My hands were and are so soft now.
I highly recommend you go here. It was not too expensive and worth every single penny. I truly I got the «deluxe» package for the basic service.
They definitely have a regular customer in me now.

I’ve had my nails done several times at this location. Amy is hands down the best!!! Very detail oriented.
I would avoid the manager (I didn’t catch his name but you can tell he’s in charge) as he is often distracted and works way too quickly/​sloppy. Services are well worth the price including hot stone massage, paraffin wax, bottled water, and if you get the mani/​pedi combo a SHOULDER MASSAGE (mind blown)!!!
Never had acrylics here but gel and regular polish are job well done!

do the paraffin wax for $ 5! the basic pedicure has awesome hot stones and afterward you get your neck and upper back massaged while your toes dry. the workers didn’t talk the whole time or belittle my poorly maintained feet, which i really appreciated. i will definitely be back but after the tip it ended up $ 36!

The price has gone up to $ 42 for a basic mani/​pedi. And $ 52 for deluxe mani/​pedi. Either way you get a lot for your money. I only gave 4 stars due to the lady that worked on me was kinda quick where as I was watching other customers and the people working on them, and they seemed to get more time. You DO get the usual massage, hand treatment with your money but I would take the guys over the ladies that work there.

Good service and very attentive staff. Although my mani/​pedicurist didn’t seem too thrilled with a 20% tip. Apparently they prefer cash tips but I had no idea of knowing that and rarely carry cash. I’ll keep that in mind for next time.
I had a walk in service gel manicure and pedicure for $ 70 before tip. That’s about what I expect for gel mani/​pedi. Now a gel pedicure can be tricky seeing as how you’ve got to get your toes in that UV lamp, but as long as you don’t mind some awkward balancing for a pedicure that lasts weeks, it’s bearable. Now I was asked to switch pedicure chairs moments after I was seated so that some other patrons could sit together, which I didn’t mind but did kind of ruin the vibe a little. Which brings up the size of the salon. It is quite small so don’t expect a lot of privacy or personal space. And if you’re looking for relaxation without having to hear other patron’s conversations, this probably isn’t the place for you.
But the included paraffin wax and hot stone is a nice bonus although it seemed a little rushed. They were quite busy on the Saturday I visited, which I take as a good sign. I might stray from somewhere that had no customers at all. That can’t be good. The pedicure was nice and even just like I like. I’m probably too picky but I like what I like. Now the manicure was a bit sloppy with a bit of polish gathering around a couple cuticles. That’s really the only drawback I had about the quality. Other than the towels are a bit rough.
I’ll probably visit again just to give it another chance. They had a wide selection of gel colors and plenty of customers. I’ll have to visit during non peak times in the future.

I was pretty excited to try this place after reading the multitude of positive reviews, but I left a little disappointed.
The whole mani/​pedi prep process was completely relaxing, so I have no complaints there. I loved the hot stones and the paraffin wax. I loved how I was brought a comfy lap pillow and didn’t force me to awkwardly contort my upper body while she was working on my hands while still in the pedi chair. I hate when places do that, so I was extremely thankful my comfort was more important to them than turning around another chair for the next in line. I also thought the shoulder massage at the very end was a fantastic touch.
As for the paint job — one of the worst I’ve ever had. I don’t care too much about the quality of my toes as they’re far from my face and everyone else’s, but I was genuinely disappointed in my manicure. There were pretty substantial strips of visible nail on each sides of every finger, the paint along the cuticles was also off, and the clear coat she put on top of the nail color didn’t spread evenly across the entire nail, so there were different levels of paint, if that even makes sense. I have a picture of the manicure I’m referring to, so I’ll post it if I’m able. Bottom line is that it just wasn’t the high quality manicure I’ve become accustomed to here in Austin. I’ve never before gotten a fresh manicure that already appeared to be several weeks old. In all fairness though, I’ve never gotten a mani AND pedi for only $ 38 before either. Guess I got what I paid for?
Either way, I’m definitely willing to try this place again in the future and will gladly update the review should I discover my bad mani was just a fluke.

I am by no means what you would call a «girly» girl. The only makeup I wear is eye makeup, I only straighten my hair because it’s absolutely necessary, and I have never gotten a manicure or pedicure. I really have no way to tell if I got a good deal here or if they did a good job, but I can tell you how it went. Unilocal made All About You seem like just about the best deal in north Austin. «$ 38 amazing Mani-​Pedi!»
It’s next door to the best massage place ever! Add an Asian bakery and this could seriously be my perfect girly-​Saturday destination. I walked in at 6pm on a weekday– initially kind of excited for my first time, but confused. I’ll skip over the parts where I was confused, embarassed, and totally didn’t know what to do.
The basic mani-​pedi is $ 38, with a premium one for $ 60-​something. I was ready to purchase the premium– my planned look was a black french tip, and they let me know it would be $ 15 extra for the shellac. Why not? I’m already blowing money on something vain and wasteful.
One lady worked on my toes while one covered my hands. Massaging and hot stones, etc. were pretty pleasant. I did receive a cut on one of my cuticles– it wasn’t bad and didn’t both me but I thought it worth mentioning. SHE ALSO CUT MY NAILS WAY TOO SHORT. Like. the shortest they’ve ever been, far shorter than my fingertips. I would have stopped her, but by the time I noticed, it would have looked worse to have just a few little baby nails.
The overall look of my black french tip fingernails and solid gray toes is great, just. way too short. And I would certainly return, however, I think I’d skip the pedicure and get the basic manicure. I walked out at $ 88 including tax. a bit too rich for my blood.
The next day some random dude in line at Target complimented my nails! I can honestly say that’s a first– good work All About You!

Yes, I will say more!
They sat me in one of the pedicure chairs to let my feet start to soak. The technician proceeded to make sure I was getting a manicure also, and I told her yes. She massaged my arms and hands, and then brought over paraffin wax bags and put my hands in them to soak in the awesome warm goo. At first I thought I accidentally upgraded to the «deluxe» mani/​pedi, but no, this is included in the regular.
As the paraffin sat on my hands, she started the pedicure which also included a massage with a scrub, oil, and pumice stone. OH, and did I mention the hot stones are included, too?
After painting my toes, she brought me over to the mani table and finished my manicure. When she brought me over to the drying station for my hands and feet, she gave me a shoulder massage and let me relax until everything was dry.
THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB DIGGITY. For real!
