All About Vapor

Alright, so let me begin with the fact that I was a 30 year smoker who decided that I was getting tired of shelling out $ 6 for a pack of smokes [and considering that I was smoking 2 packs per day…] and the plain and simple fact that I had to choose whether I wanted to keep smoking everyday, or being able to breath… Well of course I chose the whole breathing thing. Nobody wants to be told that you have COPD/​Emphasema and will have to tote around a bottle of oxygen ever where so you don’t keel over dead. So a friend turned me on to the new kick of e-​cigs and vaping, the new trend for people wanting to kick the tobacco habit. SO I did my research on it and decided to give it a try. So I went here and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They answered my questions, and explained it all too me. Now there were all kinds of vape’s and stuff, but they recommended that I start out with something simple to acclimate myself to vaping instead of spending a butt load of cash on the upper end stuff first. Needless to say, in May 2012 I threw away the cigarettes and was the proud owner of a new joyetech vape pen, and have been smoke free since that time. I have also been a regular customer with this store ever since. «Bangs» and crew have been dealing with me for some time now, and I can’t say enough about how well they treat me and my wife everytime we go there. To this day, I have not had a single incident where I felt a need to complain about anything. There prices are fine, and there products are excellent.
So when I have people who ask me about vaping, I always recommend this store, and the people working there. You just can’t beat them in my own humble opinion.

There may be a wait sometimes but it’s always well worth it. They guys get to know you if you keep coming back and there is such a great selection. I’ve tried multiple vape shops in ATX and this one is by far the best. They even have a rewards program! I’ll never go anywhere else!

READ THIS!! If you wanna go some where to have yourself belittled, ALL ABOUT VAPE IS YOUR PLACE! They are losers who work on commission and answer to someone else… not you though! When you go in that store, all they care about is GETTING YOUR MONEY!! WILL is the most JOKE of a manager I’ve ever seen in my life! (And i own a company which would never hire an idiot like that, even to do grunt work!) Find another vape shop in austin. I don’t care which one!

I cannot say enough good things about the AAV on Airport. I recently bought a new device and had a few minor issues with it. Will was incredibly helpful and fixed me right up. He never made me feel like I was bothering him. Every time I have needed something, Will has always had the solution. He is friendly, knowledgable and always personable. It is rare to encounter such fantastic customer service. As long as Will is at AAV, they will have my business.

I went to «All About Vapor» excited because of the close proximity to my house and all the wonderful reviews. When I walked in, I was greeted and staff was very kind. I do NOT recommend this place for beginners who just want to vape. Or for that matter, no one looking to buy an actual piece. The lowest quote I could get was $ 80… I wouldn’t be so upset, but I went to ECig over on MLK– and that same $ 80 piece for $ 37.99. Moreover, Other shops gave me FAR MORE options that were for a reasonable price. All About Vapor may be good for juices and such– but I was disappointed in its options in terms of devices.

I honestly wasn’t too impressed by this place. It took forever and a day to be seen by somebody, I had to take a number which is a first for me in the vaping world, and the prices and juice were so-​so. Some of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, no knock against them, but… I’ve also seen much better. The place was also kind of sparse. Like they have this VIP Vapers Lounge tucked in the corner with shelves upon shelves of stuff, but then the rest of the store is completely incongruous in that it’s *too* spacious with hardly anything in the showcases. Seems like they could even that out a bit. Just not the best vape shop I’ve ever been to.

Knowledgeable staff, friendly service. Today I met Bangs and. Daniel? Was that his name, crap i suck at names. Anyways, they were both super friendly. They made many suggestions for my e liquid, and there was no pressure to upsell, unlike some other vape shops near me. I can’t believe today was my first visit. I’m never going anywhere else.

These guys are great! I dropped my device and jammed it up where it would not power up, they were able to fix it. It’s nice to have a place to get everything you need from juices to to a device that works for you.

Always good customer service but over the top fantastic due to my recent experience with Tanner («Sippi»), a new employee at this location. Made some great suggestions related to some vaping «issues» I kept having. Thought it was bad tanks but it turned out I just needed a new wick. I was there again today for a refill and let someone go ahead of me so I could work with Tanner again, and will always try to work with him in the future! This isn’t to say the other guys aren’t awesome but Tanner goes above and beyond the norm which is rare in customer service anymore. Go Sippi!!!

Nice guys, huge place… but they let a bunch of kids in (like under 10). I feel really uncomfortable smoking/​vaping around kids in a closed space, they can’t consent or understand the risks. I also feel like allowing in kids in a place like that encourages use of nicotine products to minors, pretty uncool in my opinion. I wouldn’t vape in a playground, vape lounge isn’t an appropriate place for your kids playdate :(.

I recently had an issue with the battery in my vape, and returned to the store to see what I could do about it. They replaced the battery at no charge (thanks Bangs, greatly appreciate that). Great selection of products, knowledgeable, and super-​friendly staff.

I hate to beat the same drum every time I Unilocal here. I now call my orders in to save time but that doesn’t even work. Long lines and staff members that want to have extra long conversations with everyone about pointless topics while they flirt with girls. You can visibly watch the speed at which they work crawl to a near stand still the more they get involved in the conversation. Nice people and good products but it’s ridiculous.

I drive all the way from San Marcos to come and get my juice here because it’s the best and they don’t mind customizing it for me. I love the staff they are always super friendly and will spend as much time as you need to get you sorted. They stand behind their merchandise and have replaced batteries for me that have had issues. Try wally tears it’s delicious.

This place is great if you have all day to listen to the employees talk about their vast knowledge of vaping when all you want is to make a purchase and get on with your day. they are conveniently always out of what you want and then just to get them to shut up you’ll spend double and not actually get what you went for!
I’ll never go here again and i will tell everyone to avoid like the plague. i dropped by to grab a new tank (standard) and a bottle of juice (pre-​bottled). i walked out with out buying anything! looks like they spent a lot of money on wood counters and some fancy lounge, when you should have bought some glass cases so i can see product that you sell.
i asked wheres your juices and he started rambling off how many flavors like a punk. seeing i was overwhelmed he hands me a binder with everything they sell. really? i just want a bottle of juice, i can’t remember the name of company but i do the label. guess what? they have nothing on display… you can’t window shop, you can’t look at all the juices they carry. Hell i don’t know what brands they sell or if they did sell anything. Thats how poorly the shop is set up. you have to have some guy hold your hand who never shuts the F up!

You can’t just run in and grab what you need. you can wait up to an hour too! if you remember to grab a number ticket like at the DMV… seriously!!!
Terrible shopping experience I actually walked out. You can’t just point at something you want and buy… because you can’t see any product. Forcing you to interact and listen to the droning voice of some stoner/​vape head as they go on and on about 380 flavors they can make.
STFU and let me just grab what i need and pay!!!
PS– went to another vape store, in and out 5 min. walked in asked where the Kangers were they showed me in the case. Picked out what i wanted. looked at the wall of Juice, saw the label i was looking for. Pointed, asked for that one and next thing i know i paid for them and was back in my car vaping in 7 min! thats service! what you’ll receive hear is a lot of smoke being blowed up your ass and spending way more then you wanted!
NEVER GO HERE.

I won’t go here again.
The prices are decent (ish).
The flavors are good (I’ve tried them all!).
The wait is not too bad (usually).
They are often out of certain items (the ones you need).
I’ve bought a few items here that didn’t work (at all).
I bought one item here that actually ruined my MVP (the MVP that I bought THERE).
The customer service is.unpredictable.
I have had a couple of really good experiences, but more often than not, the customer service is apathetic at best.
Once they were actually rude.
And hey! I visited this shop countless times. So only having one TERRIBLE experience isn’t that bad, but having only a couple of good experiences is ridiculous.
I really wanted this to be my vape shop, its so close to my house! And I love the blueberry scoop. Sadly, I will be avoiding All About Vapor.

If i could give more than 5 stars, i would. These guys engaded conversation with us from the moment we walked in the door. Even though they were busy, they took the time to talk to us and tell us about the authentic mods, attys, and juice.
When at the counter asking about house blends, the guys talked to us about all the varieties of juice they could make us and how they coukd make any ratio of vg and nic. Picked me up some carnival in high vg and it was amazing!
Every time i come to austin, i will be visiting these guys.

The wait is crazy. I normally go to Phoenix Vapor but I came here today.
bleh need again. Been waiting for 15 mins and still have two more people to go.
when I go to Phoenix I never have to wait because that have 4 – 6 people working at a time. They’re much nicer, friendlier and its a more personal experience. This place blows. Go to Phoenix Vapor up the sstreet instead.

So after reading all the reviews, I decided to give this shop a try. Long story short: this shop is awesome! As I stepped in, I got the enthusiastic greeting that they’re known for, which immediately put me at ease. I was in the mood for something apple-​y, but nothing I tested was quite right.
That’s when Justin went to work. Despite my total inability to explain the «something» that was missing from the testers, Justin managed to get enough out of my «uhs» to craft what he called a Vanilla Apple Smoothie and what I call the best dang juice I’ve ever vaped. Seriously.
One thing is for sure. I’ll definitely go back. Often, if they keep tantalizing mt taste buds.

Love love love this shop! Just recently got an e cgi from a different town, but had trouble unscrewing my tank from my battery, walked into the shop, a lady employee helped me with everything unscrewed it, put in a new filter in it.
I love it when a place has really good service, I love this shop!
There is a 5 limit testing of vapor flavors and all testers have nicotine in them already.

Been here a couple of times. Every time I spend way more than planned, figure I’d spend more money here than slowtech ;) Today I came in wanting to try new juices as I’ve been sick of what I have. Came in and talked to Charles. Really really knowledgeable dude. He knows about dripping, mods, batteries and the other new e-​cig stuff. He got me tasting diff flavors, showed me what new stuff they had and even sold me a mod I wasn’t planning on buying ;) If you are an advanced vaper, ask for Charles,.,.he know’s his stuff!
Update: So the mod i got (Magneto) had an issue, came back the next day and they hooked me up! I must say, customer service is good and they didn’t even ask too many questions LOL.
Taking 2 stars out and here’s why: I was talking to Charles about sub-​ohms and he kept showing me his mod and giant clouds etc… to the point where i wanted to do it. He was very knowledgeable and convinced me that the mod they have will allow me to do so, so i bought it ($ 50 plus $ 17 for drip atomizer, got the SMOK Magneto). This is the device that messed up… after searching the nets, turned out that this mod is not designed for sub-​ohms (less than 1ohm) as the center cap spring burns at that level — this is exactly what happened to my mod. In the end, I spent $ 70 on something i thought would do something that it did not… Please do your research before you buy anything on impulse. Not trying to blame the guys here but if they knew their product would not sub-​ohm, I would not have paid so much money for this… sigh… Gonna try vapor logic now and see if they are any good.
