Description

Specialties

AHB Community School is a small, secular independent school serving kids from Elementary through Middle School.

AHB’s philosophy is that education is the pursuit of knowledge; a pursuit which occurs as much outside of the classroom as in it.

Our part-time schedule (3 – 4 days/week) allows students ample time to attain the knowledge, seek the adventure, and develop the relationships that lie beyond the four walls of the classroom. They also have time to just be kids!

AHB is a great match for families seeking a balance between family life and school.

History

Established in 2003.

Created from a desire to find the right fit for a family seeking to balance educating the whole child with rigorous academics and time to just be a kid, Georgie Georgákis founded AHB Community School.

Somewhere between full-time private school and home school coop, AHB seeks to strike the right school and life balance within a community of innovative educators, involved parents, and interested students.

The result is over 10 years of a school that children, and their families, love.
