Acupuncture Together of Austin

Before I found Acupuncture Together, I thought acupuncture was an annual, «special occasion» treat. Prices for a singular treatment can be so high… I had no idea that this affordable little gem existed in the city!!! You get in, get healed and get out. So clean, efficient and EFFECTIVE! You go in, grab your pillows and blankets, lose your eyes and drift off to sleep. The first time Ashley worked on me, I told her I was so physically exhausted and overworked. She put the needles in me and 1 hour later, I woke up feeling like I rested a century! No joke! I never dream because I am a restless sleeper, and I literally dreamed so deep within that 1 hour it was like I was starring in the last scene of Inception. My totem is still spinning somewhere out there in the universe HAH!
Seriously though, I have had amazing results in my overall health and well-​being after seeing Ashley. My body and spirit feels in sync, I handle stress so much better– I just feel so clean inside and out! This place is a God send. Don’t hesitate, people! Get your ass in here!

This was my first time with Acupuncture and Ashley made it a wonderful experience. The community approach helped eased my nerves seeing everyone so relaxed. Ashley took time to ask about my ailments and worked out a treatment regimen. I am not sure if it was a placebo effect, but my road rage appeared to disappear on the way home. i am looking forward to my Acupuncture journey with Ashley and Acupuncture Together of Austin.

I love Ashley! I have tried acupuncture in the past, but with the typical high prices that limits my visits and makes me give up even though I feel that it is working. My past acupuncture visits have been solo appointments with my treatment on a hard doctors bed with no comfy recliner, zen music, and blanket which is the the experience you will have with Ashley. I prefer the synergy that I also feel in the calm group setting. It comforts me to see other people covered with needles as well!
In the summer heat her office has been a nice, dark, cave like sanctuary; and the in the winter, a nice cozy and warm place to sleep and get treated. My hormones are regulated better when I see her but when I miss a week or so things seem to be back to the way they were before treatment. You can’t beat $ 20 for a more relaxing treatment than the expensive solo treatments. My HSA account covers most of these treatments too. My insurance sucks, so I am using the HSA account and acupuncture as some preventative medicine and a great way to meditate. If she were open at least one night during the week days or closer to my work, I would be going at least twice a week.

Ashley is a master of her craft! I feel so fortunate to be treated by her. When you walk in you are greeted by the ever so lovely Maxine at the front desk. If it’s your first time she explains how things work here and answers any questions you may have, it’s very comforting especially if you’re trying community acupuncture for the first time (which I highly recommend and this is hands down the best place to go in Austin. Top notch care at an affordable price!) Seeing Ashley and Maxine always brightens my day. This place is a treasure!
I moved to Austin about a year ago and pretty quickly developed bad migraines from all the mold and pollen. The only thing that has alleviated my pain has been Acupuncture Together. I go about every two weeks and have never been pressured to come more often, as other clinics have done in the past. I don’t have chronic pain, I simply enjoy the meditative state I’m able to achieve during acupuncture and the relief it gives my migraines/​minor pains.
Once you chose your recliner there are pillows, soft blankets, ear plugs and even eye masks in the back corner you may use get even more comfortable. The room has relaxing, dim lighting and calm soft music. It’s very easy to forget all your stress and worries here. Ashley is gentle, calm and has a very peaceful demeanor. She discusses what areas are giving you trouble and then you sit back and relax as she works her magic. Last weekend I also had cupping done and I loved it. My back felt so incredible after the treatment and I’m looking forward to doing it again. This place rules you guys!

Went for a first ever acupuncture treatment today. The price was right, the feeling was personal and relaxing and it was not painful AT ALL! Ashley was understanding, comforting, knowledgable, relaxed and not at all pushing. I will definitely be going back!

I have been seeing Ashley 2 – 3 times a week for just over two months. Like others say, I had previous experience with acupuncture but nothing earth shattering. When multiple friends (including a couple doctors) suggested I try acupuncture for pain relief, I looked into Acupuncture Together – and like others say – I wasn’t sure the «group format» was for me.
Two months later, wow! Ashley seems to work magic, but she’s actually a very skilled and talented Acupuncturist. I settled into my chosen recliner on my first visit (after I paid my fee to the Marvelous Maxine out front), and Ashley looked over my paperwork and got me started.
She gently stirred me from a lovely «acu-​sleep» about an hour later and I felt so relaxed! And the relief from chronic pain was beginning. Very definitely worth every tiny needle that truly isn’t felt.
Each time I return I now get my punch card punch by Maxine ($ 20 a return visit, or less with a card), settle into a favorite recliner with pillows and a blanket if needed, and wait for Ashley to come over and see what has changed. I’m «all settled» and ready to «acu-​sleep» once again.
You do have to get used to being in a room with others, but it is easy, and gets better with time and experience. I keep earplugs and cough drops at the ready and it makes my experience wonderful!
The environment created by «Community Acupuncture» is beneficial in many ways-​it allows fees to be very reasonable, and each person in the room to possibly get some sort of «group benefit». I’m just happy to have found Ashley and Acupuncture Together!

I have very few addictions in my life, and I am happy to say that acupuncture is one of them.
I discovered Acupuncture Together a couple of years ago when I realized that spending $ 95 for an acupuncture session was not sustainable. Ashley charges $ 20 a session, which makes it possible to get the number of treatments you need to actually fix problems.
Ashley is awesome. She has a calm and positive aura, which makes me trust my health with her.
Each treatment transports me to a state of relaxation I cannot replicate at all in my life. No amount of massage, meditation, yoga, etc., can give me the same high that acupuncture does. I am addicted to the results I get from each treatment.
If you’re comfortable with receiving treatments in a group setting, I highly, highly recommend Acupuncture Together. Your mind and body will thank you.

Affordable, great, relaxing atmosphere, amazing acupuncturist, friendly front desk. First place I tried acupuncture and she really eased my nerves.

Affordable acupuncture, that is truly HIGH QUALITY — Ashley is so sweet, pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I’ve been a client on and off for the past 2.5 years and each time I leave a session, I feel like a new person. I have had acupuncture treatments in both group and private settings, and I personally don’t mind the group setting at all. I would (and have) recommended Ashley at Acupuncture Together to anyone looking for quality treatment.

First of all, I have been on Unilocal for years and NEVER felt strongly enough about any business to write a review, good or bad. Until today. I have been in a wheelchair or on crutches for weeks due to a severe foot sprain. My orthopedist said recovery would be AT LEAST 3 months. My grandmother recommended acupuncture, as it helped her with a sprained foot. Well, today, after about the most relaxing hour of my life, I stood on my foot with ZERO pain. Closest thing to a miracle I’ve experienced in my lifetime. I can tell all isn’t quite right just yet, but NO PAIN. Going again tomorrow. All this for $ 30 ($ 20 tomorrow). Unreal!

This is a wonderful place to get your acupuncture treatment. Ashley is so very professional, caring and so pleasant. I feel Ashley and Maxine are like family and they are so friendly and make me feel good about being there. I go once a week and have for the last year and I have received so much help in many areas of my body. Falling asleep in the chair is the most rest I get all week. It is so affordable and I really look forward to going. I highly recommend Acupuncture Together of Austin.

I’ve been a client off and on for a few years, and recently went back after traveling for a couple of years. Returning to Austin, I really looked forward to getting treatments here. I’ve really admired Ashley for all of the intention that she puts into her work, and always get positive vibes from her each time I go. I really can’t put my finger on why, but it makes me feel comfortable to be in her presence, and confident in her approach.
If you don’t mind being treated in a group setting, this is probably the best option that I can think of on the north side. Parking is always reasonable, and her staff are always attentive the moment you walk in the door. I would recommend going here for both first-​time clients, and for others who have had treatments in the past.

Affordable high quality acupuncture done with care and expertise. I came as a newbie, and Ashley calmed my nerves immediately. She listened thoroughly, and recommended a treatment plan, and went to work. I couldn’t even feel the needles going in a bit. The initial first visit costs $ 30, but the follow up visits are $ 20 for up to an hour visit (you can stay less time if you want). The appointments are extremely easy to reserve online, and I recommend doing so several days in advance.
I never have felt uncomfortable in the group setting, and now don’t even notice it. You will pay in advance of your treatment, then hang your coat on the hook, and then go back and select a comfy reclining chair. You can select an eye cover, pillow, and or blanket if you want from the shelves to make yourself more comfortable. Once you sit down, Ashley will roll up to your chair with your patient record in hand, and check in to see how you are doing, and then place the needles accordingly.
I came initially for back pain management, but walked away with additional benefits I wasn’t expecting such as increased energy, calmness, and clarity. I have found over time that acupuncture is not just great for treating numerous physical ailments, but also is a spa treatment for my soul. I remember how much I loved Kindergarten nap circle time, this is like that for adults, but even better.

Best $ 20 you could ever spend on yourself.

A long time ago one of my clients told me about this place. I wasn’t doing acupuncture at the time and it really wasn’t priority for me then.
Recently, I have had some excellent experiences with acupuncture and have been more than excited from the results.
I haven’t been able to find a match for me with a good one to one practitioner, so I remembered to ask my client for that referral from so long ago.
It turned out that this acupuncture center isn’t too far from my business… so the other day I just decided to stop in to find out more about what they have to offer.
It turned out that they had room for me to just drop in that day (lucky me).
So, I did my paperwork — the wonderful greeter at the front filled me in on how this place runs and I was on my way!
I sat in the world’s most comfortable recliner — I waited a short time and the acupuncturist came over to greet me and talk to me about what I filled out on my paperwork. She exuded calm and confidence and a friendliness as well.
She addressed my 3 main issues of the day — and all 3 issues responded well to the treatment.
The price is AMAZING — wonderful to know that I will be able to go for the amount of treatments I need to see more permanent results! What a breath of fresh air.
I had been going to another place in Cedar Park who also offers group acupuncture in recliners that was charging $ 70 per visit (if you didn’t sign up for their other monthly plan at $ 1000’s of dollars) — and I went to a couple, but then they raised it to $ 90 a session. REALLY?! (that is another review for another day).
My first visit was A+ and I am thinking I will continue to be happy here.

Ashley is completely amazing. I was having migraines 2 – 3 times a week. With her treatments I have had absolutely none since sept 2014. It took a little getting used to the set up because you literally get your treatments together And usually everyone is taking an acu-​nap when you walk in. That’s just how relaxing it is. Ashley has also helped with my anxiety and allergy issues but the migraines are just gone. This has to be your go to girl! I know she is mine. Such a great place for healing and rejuvenation

Nothing short of exceptional. My wife and I go regularly and are able to make acupuncture a consistent part of our healthcare because of Acupuncture Together. Highly recommend!

2^nd time in 2 days now I absolutely love it! Of course like everyone, I was a bit hesitant at 1^st but hands down great experience, Relaxing, and such a relief of my many problems. It’s affordable, professional, comfortable and great customer service.

This is a wonderful experience. I was skeptical at first, but now I am absolutely sold on it. The communal atmosphere makes it much less expensive. You will pay 4 to 5 times more for a private session. Although communal, Ashley gives each customer individual attention. You leave relaxed and refreshed and the acupuncture really seems to help. As a positive side effect, my golf game has improved considerably since I started sessions. Good central location. If you have ever considered acupuncture, I recommend Acupuncture Together as the place to go.

This is such a fantastic concept. I’ve had acupuncture in the past with great success, but since it’s usually not covered by insurance, I can’t afford to go for the recommended number of treatments. I was recently diagnosed with a chronic condition for which Western medicine has no medication or cure, so I decided to give this place a shot.
So far I’ve been impressed, and I know with their affordable rates I’ll be able to come on a regular basis. With a chronic, «incurable» condition I’m not sure how many treatments I’ll need or how much improvement I’ll see, but I’m hopeful for the first time in a long time.
The only downside to this form of group treatment is you have to rely on others to follow the rules. There are many many reminders posted about turning your phone OFF, not wearing strong perfume or cologne and to respect others getting treatment, but when you talk about humans in the modern, self-​centered world, you’re going to have the occasional jackass. This is not the fault of the business, so I didn’t detract from my rating, but be aware that you might have to deal with some annoyances. I think the benefits far outweigh them.
