A Done Right Pest Control

I am so lucky to have found Kevin and his company – A Done Right Pest Control. He came by recently and sealed up our house. He went out of his way to ensure the garage was sealed properly since we had seen a critter in there. I feel much safer in our house now. He’s so honest and easy to talk to. I feel like he is family! If you need any type of pest control or just a seal up to make sure nothing can get in, you shouldn’t go anywhere else. Just FYI– Kevin does have his own very small company so he doesn’t have a receptionist answering his calls (I feel saving on this overhead saves on the price we pay)! Again, I am so lucky to be one of his clients. I would never call anyone else for pest control.

I am a new resident to the state and purchased a new home. I read the reviews of A Done Right Pest Control (specifically regarding the owner, Kevin) and am so happy I did. I chose his company over larger enterprises.
Kevin knew of my concerns about fleas and other pests that are typical for this region and responded immediately when I reached out to him. I was delayed getting into my home and he was understanding of the change in date/​time for our first appointment.
When he arrived he thoroughly inspected my new home and made suggestions about the types of pests I needed to address and made me realize that fleas were not an issue. He showed me how to save money and concentrate on those areas that were more important. He did indicate that after the first treatment I may see some increased activity and he was correct.
I totally freaked when fire ants showed up inside my kitchen. On a Sunday evening he came out and treated the area and gave me instructions on how to handle these things in the future.
Kevin is foremost a kind individual as well as at utmost professional who treats his clients as he would a family member. He took a city girl and showed her she can inhabit an environment she’s not used to and thrive. I can’t recommend him highly enough. There are lots of pest control companies out there. But not many would do what he did on a weekend evening. He has my business from now on!

I found Kevin here on Unilocal,for his 5 star reviews. And signed up with him. Sprayed my house few times. Little expensive side but its ok. Last time our schedule was tight, he said he will be at my house at 8:00 and start spraying outside,. I told him that I had to leave no later than 9:30 since I work outside of town. There was no Kevin at 8. at exactly 8:55 he texted me saying he forgot his phone at home and he needed to go back, it would take him another 20 minutes to get back to me. I told him that I have to leave at 9:30 so lets reschedule. He said no problem and I never heard from him again.
Now here is the deal. I work in the service industry too. If you can’t make it, no need to make up stuff. His story doesn’t even add up. you’re supposed to be here at 8 and you had to go back to get your phone at 8:55 ?? then its gonna take you another 20 minutes? You do the math. :)
You overslept, you had a tough night whatever ITS OK. just make it up and re-​schedule that would be nice thing to do. but he didn’t. And I hate to ruin his all 5 star rating, but maybe he needs a wake up call. Treat your customers how you wanted to be treated. I never heard from him, no text, no nothing.

That’s what I would say about A Done Right Pest Control and owner, Kevin. He is very professional, kills the bugs, treat termites for my clients, and if the bugs come back before his next quarterly, he will come back and kill them again! It’s nice to have a buy guy who really stands by his work. Price is fair. You can’t live in Central Texas without having a pest control company… too many roaches and scorpions.

Kevin is the man. Ever since we found him on Unilocal,he has been keeping our house bug free. Not only is he punctual, conscientious and cheerful, but he straight up knows bugs and how to make them disappear. His price quotes are dead-​on accurate and he keeps his promises. We’re always happy when he shows up and you will be too. Just don’t try to book him when he’s headed to our house or we will end you.

Really, a company who doesn’t answer the phone and has a full voicemail…

When I found out I had termites, I freaked out! I wanted to find someone with good reviews and quick service. I ended up having three different companies come out to give me quotes. Of course, I went with Kevin… let me tell you why.
First of all, Kevin was super informative and genuinely nice. He explained the whole process, calmed my nerves and told me about his business and his track record. He quoted me more than one company, but less than another and explained why.
While it was initially hard to get a hold of him, he does get back to you and he’s worth the wait. After all, he runs his own business and he’s just one guy. He aims to keep his customers happy by always doing the job right.
He came out and treated everything just like he said, but he also treated another area (for free!) when I asked him to take a look. Overall, just an awesome guy and a great business model. I am so glad I waited for his call back and chose him.

Kevin came over and discovered that what I thought was wood-​eating insects was actually the door being shredded by its own tracks. We then took a walk around the house and he pointed out possible future problems and advised on how to avoid them. He is an honest, lovely human and will absolutely be called when a real pest problem occurs.

I called to discuss a time to get an estimate on my ant problem. He was very forthcoming about information on the phone, and said he would call me back to set a time for a visit. No call. I called again the next week, and still have not gotten a call. My first call was on the 7^th of April. I don’t think I’m expecting too much.

Kevin is:

Educating — Kevin happily shares information pertaining to whatever issues he’s been called to address as well as others that may impact your home.
Fairly Priced — all of his pricing is in line with industry standards, and he never tries to oversell.
Friendly. Smart. Kind. Interesting. Kevin is a key member of our community and after meeting him through his business, I’m psyched to be able to call him a friend.

Kevin offered a free on-​site assessment of crawlspace under our newly built house where there was a noisy visitor recently. He pointed out area where contractor missed sealing off properly under deck and advised that we have contractor fix it, as house is under warranty. HONESTY and not overselling us are very good qualities. Recommended.

Kevin definitely does right. He came out to do an inspection of our building for a mouse problem we were having. He was extremely thorough and determined in finding the source of our problem and sure enough, he discovered how they were getting into our building. He explained and showed us the access point and gave us a run down of what was most likely happening. He then provided great suggestions and ideas that would help keep the mice out, and actually save us money that we didn’t need to be spending. Very personable and honest. Give Kevin a call because you will not be disappointed!

Kevin is quite possibly the best guy I have EVER met. Not only is he amazing at his job, but he’s also a guy you are happy to see when he shows up, and honestly, when pest control has to come to your house, who’s happy? I am, that’s who.

I researched Unilocal,other websites and texted several friends before selecting Kevin. One friend, not having read any Unilocal reviews, commented: «He is a one man business and a real good guy.» Definitely a consensus comment based on reviewers’ of Kevin’s behavioral performance.
I called Kevin in the afternoon and he was able to work me in, first thing the next morning. He arrived on time, presented himself professionally and immediately set out to make his diagnosis. His findings were: a swarm of Cicada Killers invaded my side yard; carpenter ants decided to make sawdust of my wood deck; and, other minor species found comfort in living on my property.
After an hour and thirty-​three minutes of thoroughly diagnosing the problem; providing an in-​depth review of his findings in a professional manner; and then treating the problem, Kevin successfully completed his mission of getting rid of my problem and relieving my wife’s anxiety over the invading critters.
A week later Kevin called to follow up and I was pleased to tell him he had done an outstanding job and there was no evidence of their return.
Kevin’s service charge was more than reasonable, based on similar «Help me!» calls, I have made in the past. He also Included a 30 day warranty.
Kevin stays abreast of the advances in his profession. He studies the habits of critters prevalent in the Greater Austin area. Other reviewers have described Kevin’s behavioral traits to which I totally agree with.
If critters are your problem, ensure their control is «DONE RIGHT» call Kevin.

A Done Right Pest Control is worthy of all of the 5 star Unilocal reviews. This morning, I texted Kevin asking if he would mind stopping by to treat ant hills in our yard after the rain. Kevin’s response, «No problem!»

Kevin was really great. He was knowledgeable, very nice and professional, not to mention quick! And his price was literally 25% and 50% of the competing bids that I received. We’ve had termite work done before and knew what to expect — I guess the other bidders weren’t counting on that. Kevin was priced fairly, and he did the work right that very moment! No bidding and then coming back ages later. Excellent service and would definitely recommend him to others.

Bottom line: Kevin is a true pro who cares more about his customers than any businessperson I’ve ever met.
Having just bought a brand-​new house, we recognized we’d need to set up routine pest control to avoid future issues. Unilocal suggested A Done Right Pest Control. We were impressed by the glowing reviews – after all, they say people are twice as likely to share bad experiences as good ones, so an abundance of good reviews points to a truly outstanding business. We really wanted a local company, so I gave him a call.
I left him a message, and he returned my call within 5 minutes, no exaggeration. He listened to me describe my situation, and then told me what he recommended and quoted a fair price. Given my lack of knowledge, this would have been an excellent opportunity for a less scrupulous person to try to take advantage of me, but he was totally straightforward.
He’s prompt and thorough, and I appreciated that he took the time to ensure I understood what he was doing and what kind of products he was using. We don’t have kids or pets (yet!), but plan to in the near future, and he assured me that the products he uses are pet– and child-​safe. He even pointed out a few things I should mention to the builders and ask them to fix.
I really can’t recommend A Done Right Pest Control highly enough. You won’t regret doing business with Kevin.

Kevin is not only a grade A professional but legitimately one of the nicest fellows you will ever meet.
He has worked with my family for years and is always dependable, greets everyone of us by our first names, and always smiling.
He surprises me every time with how much he remembers about our life’s and the conversations we have had. He is like the Andy Griffith of pest control.
And he doesn’t try to screw you either. We found bed bugs in our apartment and he was the first person I called. The apartment complex wanted to use someone else who was going to charge me a few thousand dollars for a super complicated treatment.
I needed to take care of the problem myself before the complex sent their own professional over. When I told Kevin what was going on he told me about this $ 25 dollar bottle of treatment that should fix the problem (I caught them pretty early before they had a chance to spread, not sure if this would work if they had gotten much worse).
Since it was kind of time sensitive he let me meet him at a local restaraunt and came out during the middle of dinner with his family to give me the bottle and explain how to use it. This was a few hours after I called him.
Anyway, it worked. He could have charged me thousands but instead he saved me thousands.
Bugs are never fun but Kevin is the only person you want to take care of them for you.
My family has trusted him for years, I trust him now that I’m out on my own, and from the other reviews it’s easy to see that plenty of other people feel the way I do.

Ditto to all the other reviews. Kevin Riley at A Done Right Pest Control is amazing. I had been dealing with rats in the attic for two years and was very concerned after being «ripped off» by two other companies. The great Unilocal reviews encouraged me to give him a call.
Kevin was prompt, efficient and reasonable. I had some gaping holes in my roof that neither of the other extermination companies had noted. (Gee, wonder why the rats kept coming back!) He was willing to do the repairs but was flexible in working with my HOA to coordinate getting the roof fixed and the traps set within a reasonable amount of time.
All of his wonderful professional qualities aside, Kevin has a great personality and is a delight to have around. I’m kinda sad that he did such a good job because he won’t be coming around. If I have any pest problems in the future, you can be sure that he will be one I call.
