Doug came out on a Saturday to flush my kitchen drain. Didn’t even charge emergency/weekend rates. Professional, courteous, friendly. He just became my plumber.

I got Doug Tobler’s name from a close friend at work who has used him as his only plumber for over 20 years.(He recently changed the name of his business from Tobler Plumbing to 85 Rocking T, to acknowledge his cowboy past.) I called him because I had a few issues with my 9 year old house, including needing a new toilet(which kept filling with black mold in the tank and the toilet despite repeated cleanings), replacing two old leaking outdoor spigots, and unclogging my master bathroom sink. I was able to reach Doug the day I called him and he came out a couple of days later to look at my proposed plumbing job(for free) and give me a quote. He recommended that I buy a Toto toilet over most other brands of toilets that are now made in China(American Standard and Kohler are made in China). Based on Doug’s recommendation and the reviews I read about toilet, I bought one and he picked it up before he came over to my house. I asked Doug about his background and learned he’s been a Master Plumber since the mid 1970s. I found Doug to be neat, highly professional, friendly, and willing to answer any questions I had. In summary, I am very happy with the professional job he completed in my house and in such a timely fashion. As an FYI, he also arrived at my house exactly at the time I had requested. I would call Doug again for any other plumbing issues at my house. It is a great relief to me to find someone who I feel has a both a high degree of professionalism and integrity and for that reason I highly recommend Doug the Master Plumber for anyone who need any plumbing work.

Doug Tobler is a Master Plumbing who has been in business for a long time in Austin. He has just incorporated under this company name recently. I got Doug’s name from a friend who has extremely high standards and doesn’t make recommendations lightly. Earlier this year, Doug helped me with a clogged drain/toilet and I found him to be prompt and his prices are fair. This week, he helped me replace a 12 year old water heater that stopped working without warning. He offered a very fair price on a Bradford White unit. I did research on (yes, you can order one on line with no shipping/no tax if you aren’t in a hurry). Make sure you do some research online and read the customer reviews on water-heaters on both the Amazon and Home Depot sites. The price Doug offered was very competitive and if you haven’t installed a traditional gas water heater in the last five years — Austin now requires a permit and an inspection once it is installed. Once I decided on the heater he got it for me and installed it in 24 hours.
