The Creation Academy inspire youth to succeed through sensory, academic and creative approaches. We offer various programs such as Crafty Couture or The Emergent Designer that teaches sewing, portfolio building and fashion design to individuals of all ages. The Brain Builder program works with individuals with mild to moderate disabilities through academy and sensory activities.

Meet the Business Owner

Summer H.

Business Owner

The Creation Academy was founded by Summer G, in 2009. She is a self-​taught fashion designer and her line is called Yces Haute. She is a North Carolina native with a BA in Communications and a Masters in Special Education. With her love for fashion, helping others and children… she decided to connect all of her passions and started The Creation Academy.

Through this diverse organization, The Creation Academy offers various programs to fit everyone’s creative and intellectual needs. We offer fashion based workshops for students of all ages. Our workshops are fun, interactive and modified based on each individual need. We also provide one on one tutoring for children with intellectual delays through our Brain Building program.
