Incredible staff and incredible service. They think of everything. It’s a sanctuary. A place where you truly can leave the world behind. It’s amazing what a destination we have here in Ohio. Travels come from all over the country to visit this unique property.

Attended a ladies luncheon at Walden, and the consensus was mutual – fabulous! From touring the suites, spa and dining rooms to Chef Pete’s cooking demonstration. The food was unusual and delicious. The entire staff worked with us, and were very professional. Definitely worth the cost.

Five star all day! We went today to get a couples massage and it was perfect! From the moment we pulled in the drive we felt like royalty. The room has a hot tub and a steam shower with 10 shower heads! We had 30 minutes to use either before and after the massage. For the massage we could pick from many different types from hot stone, bamboo sticks, detox etc. The massage itself was fabulous! The smells were great, the sounds it was great. We will be back for sure!

Hands down, one of the best spas in the country, much less northeast Ohio. Service is excellent, staff is professional, and their unique «we come to you» suites are incredible. That’s right, no shuffling from room to room for your treatments, at Walden, you’re given a room with steam room/​shower and jacuzzi tub, and the staff comes to you. My wife and I have been here many times, and have walked away relaxed and refreshed. Well worth the money!

Is this a beautiful relaxing place? Yes. However, the customer service there is the worst. A few months ago I tried to book a massage got put on hold and forgotten about for more than 15 min. For and upscale spa this was rude but I chalked it up to a mistake. I booked an appointment online for a hair appointment and an hour before my appointment got a voice mail that it was cancelled because of a spa emergency. I want to feel valued as a customer even if I’m not a regular and have received much better service at Nemacolin, worth the drive.

5 star!!! no question!!! such a service!!! I have never seen service as in Walden Spa! Everyone is very polite, welcoming, helpful and just nice! I love their spa, rooms, lounge area, EVERYTHING!!! Also, I did my hair there and I really liked!!! I have been there around 5 times and for sure I am coming back again!!:)

Spa Walden is the best spa that I’ve ever been to. I was there yesterday, and received yet another great massage. The first time I had a couples massage. In your suite you get your own private shower with 8 – 10 heads, a steam shower, a Jacuzzi, and a heated massage table. There is also a tea pot, and Tea Forte teas. Yesterday when I was there, they didn’t ask me what type of aroma therapy I wanted, maybe because I was with a party? In any event, this is the premier spa in Cleveland.

I came here for a wedding the other day. It was one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been to. My room had a jet massage bath tube in the middle of the room with at couple shower wit h jets coming from all angles. It was the most beautiful shower that I had ever been in. Service was also nice. Everyone was super friendly. The décor gave you a homely feel and the beds were so comfortable. There was also a lot of space in my room and each room also came with 2 very comfortable robes. I am very impressed and if I ever go back to Ohio I will stay there again. Very nice place to have a wedding. It was such a beautiful wedding.

I’ve stayed here a number of times over the years. The grounds are beautiful, and it’s nice to walk down glass corridors with views of trees and grass instead of dimly lit hallways. Each room is individually decorated and a bit different. On cold evenings a fireplace helps make you comfy, and high thread count sheets let you relax. The big bed is loaded with more pillows than you’ll ever see on a bed again. Decent amenities and pretty good room service of you want to stay put (though you’ll pay a $ 12 room service fee plus 20% add on — ouch!). Plenty of thick towels, nice robe, and a sit down vanity where you can do hair and makeup.
On the downside, it’s showing its age a bit. My closet light was broken and stayed on all the time, leaking light into the room. Housekeeping never noticed. Housekeeping didn’t bother to pick up the half eaten macaroon I left on day one. The control panel for all the room’s goodies didn’t work, and the complimentary chocolate chip muffin was dry. Also, there truly is nothing to do nearby, and it’s not really a walk friendly area.
However, if you have business to do nearby or are in town for a wedding or event, it’s a lovely and relaxing place to stay.

90 minute massage Friday night. Then to a great room and a good night sleep. Saturday morning 90 minute seaweed wrap and massage. Saturday night a great meal at the barn. Then back to the room with fireplace. WOW! What a weekend. Treated like royalty! I highly recommend this place.

I dream about going to back to Spa Walden. I have never experienced a more relaxing or pampering environment. My family lives down the street from this Spa in Aurora, Ohio. Although I currently live in Chicago, we always try to book massages here when I’m home for Christmas.
When you walk in to Spa Walden, you’re invited into a beautiful, contemporary, serene atmosphere with white and earth-​toned décor. There’s a lot of natural wood, stone and big glass windows looking out into the countryside. Before you begin your massage, you’re asked whether you prefer a Balancing, Energizing, Nourishing, Rejuvenating or Tranquility themed experience. If I remember correctly, this is how the music, essential oils and stress areas are selected.
The spa suites here are exactly as stated… suites. They are enormous! In my room I had a full vanity, private full-​size walk-​in rain/​massage shower, wardrobe closet, massage table, private lavatory and a contemporary whirlpool soaking tub. Everything was perfectly clean. Complimentary water and hot tea were provided on the vanity. My spa suite also had a large padded window seat with pillows where I took a short nap after my massage. Spa Walden is especially soothing in the middle of winter when you can look out and watch the snow fall.
The 90-​minute massage was excellent. Very relaxing, comfortable and exactly as I had hoped for. After the massage, you can relax in the lounge with a glass of wine by the fireplace. It’s hard to actually leave this place!
Yes, the treatments here are moderately expensive, but the value of what you receive makes it worth every penny. Honestly. I would save my money year-​round if that meant I could book another massage here. You only live once! You will not be disappointed by the Spa Walden experience.
In addition to various massages, they also offer scrubs, wraps, manicures/​pedicures, facials, yoga classes and a full-​service hair salon.
