The Wright Move

I CANT NOT EXPRESS enough here on Unilocal what a professional and kind man Jermaine is. HE moved my home goods from Colorado to Houston, Texas! This is the second time I have used The Wright Move and will use them again. NO NEED to look any further for a local and long distance mover. Thank you again.

I rented the 26′ Penske truck while Elite Movers subcontracted The Wright Move for labor. My wife and I packed and wrapped furniture in advance. The Wright Move owner Jermaine and his two crew members called ahead, arrived on-​time, were cheerful and worked briskly while taking great care of our items. Six months ago we used Simple Moving Labor to load in NJ and unload in Denver. I would recommend Elite Movers/​The Wright Move.

Great moving company I found through a Living Social deal. Demetrius and Bryant arrived right on time and took 2.5 hrs to move all my master bedroom furniture. They were professional, friendly, and very quick. No damages to any of my furniture. I would use them again in the future!

I really enjoyed working with these guys when I moved from Cap Hill to Wash Park a few months back. They were very very careful with my stuff (much more careful than I would have been!) but I would not call them quick. As it turns out, being über careful takes an über long time. I expected the move to take 2 – 3 hours, and it took close to 5. By the end of it, I felt like I was pushing the guys out the door! Not to complain too much — everyone was incredibly nice and accommodating. Not sure I would use them again unless they promise to pick up the speed!

Demetrius, J.J., and Bryant helped to move us. They called prior to arriving to let us know that they were on their way showing great professionalism. They were courteous and respectful. They handled all of our stuff in a careful manner and did a great job stacking the stuff in storage. We offered them water and even bought them lunch since it took 8 hours. We were moving from a 3000 sq ft home to an apartment. We’re moving again soon once the new home is finished being built so we will definitely use them again. We highly recommend them for your next move.

Very unprofessional, slow and inefficient movers who showed up without any tools, pads or a dolly. Took them twice as long to load half as much stuff as a previous moving company we had used earlier in the day. Several items were damaged including a brand new kid’s desk I had just bought and had never been used. They had stacked boxes on top of it without anything in between scratching the white painted surface. I pointed out their error when I saw them pulling boxes off of it during the unload and they didn’t say anything to me. My husband’s inversion table surface/​padding was punctured and permanently indented. They also left grease marks on our carpeted stairs where our dolly was dragged up and down them. The movers we had used earlier had padding they placed on our stairs and floors to protect them. I’ve placed a call to the company and will update this post if they reimburse us for the damage. We are still unpacking, so there may be more we haven’t discovered yet.

We just moved to the Denver area and The Wright Move gave us an outstanding welcome. The men were a pleasure to work with as they unloaded our furniture, set it up and did an overall great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

I recently used this company, and was very disappointed. They showed up late, with and extra person, and a smaller truck than contracted. Then they overcharged me for the extra person, and the owner denied what we had agree upon in our original conversation, and accused me of «trying to cheat him». He was extremely rude. I even called him the day before to confirm they were coming. The owner answered (while driving), and didn’t even know who I was or what we had previously agreed upon. He also refused to honor the 10% discount or the rates that are clearly posted on their website.
They couldn’t fit everything in one trip (because they brought a smaller truck that what I had agreed/​paid for), and some property was damaged in the process. When I asked the owner about resolving the damage, he said that they were not responsible and that we should «just use water and pine sol and clean it ourselves».
The only saving grace was that the movers who did the actual work were very polite, nice and easy to work with.
I would not recommend this company and would not use them again. If you do use these guys, get a copy of the contract in advance and make sure it is correct!

I have used several different moving companies in my day and I was impressed with the service they provided. The two gentleman that helped with the move, did just that. They weren’t talking/​texting on their cell phones, they were actually working! We had them for a total of six hours to combine two houses and they didn’t complain once, they were true professionals that got the job done.
While moving some of the items, they had some scratches and dings to the house, the owner and staff we’re understanding and accommodating and made right on their errors, in my eyes, that’s all you can ask for.
As far as words of constructive criticism, I would say they could improve on their organizational details. I had to discuss the details of the move several times, that is just me being picky. As well, they should have some additional tools or resources to prevent the nicks and dings, if they invested in those, it could have saved them some money during the move.
Overall, I was satisfied and I will be sure to use them as a recommendation in the future.

The Wright Move was awesome! They moved us from Littleton to Conifer and were a pleasure to work with. Jermaine Wright was very professional and had a great crew of strong guys. All of my wood furniture was shrink wrapped and mirrors and pictures were protected well. I didn’t have a single broken item and all was moved in 1 trip! I would recommend them anytime and hopefully wont be moving again anytime soon, but if we do they’ll be our go to guys!

The company I hired to move me (Colorado Moving Company) was unable to get their movers on to the Air Force Base, due to criminal histories. My mom and I were at a loss, because we needed my belongings moved and still needed to drive back to Omaha (an 8 hour drive). We rented a UHaul and the woman helping us there heard our story and called Jermaine. He told me he could have a couple guys there in about an hour, and I could not have been more ecstatic to see them!
They were quick and professional. One of the employees even offered to drive the UHaul, as my mom and I were not comfortable driving it. They were so helpful and I was so incredibly grateful for their last minute help!

A friend referred me to Jermaine, the owner, as I needed to move from one three-​bedroom house to another. On our first phone call, Jermaine worked within my schedule to set a date, talked to me about the kind and amount of furniture & appliances I needed to move, estimated the amount of hours and was upfront about all fees, which are unbelievable reasonable. He told me he’d call me the week of my move to confirm.
Sure enough, Jermaine called like he said he would and we confirmed time and date once more. On the day of the move he called when he was on his way, and he arrived at my house exactly on time. He and his crew of two other guys could not have been more professional or efficient. They just dove right in, moving and packing up my stuff. They seemed to have a good system about how to load the truck, what furniture and appliances go where, etc.
They never stopped — I never saw them stop for a break and they weren’t even going to stop for lunch. They worked so hard. I also noticed they were really «smart» packers. Jermaine has been in the moving business since he was a teenager, so he’s got the routine down and he’s obviously trained his guys.
The whole move took only about an hour longer than estimated, which I was fine with. They re-​put together the beds in the new house, re-​hooked up my TV and sterio, even, and placed the furniture where I asked them to. They had me check the truck before they left and had me check around the new house to make sure everything was accounted for.
These guys were on-​time, honest, efficient and affordable. I swear I think I saved about $ 400 using them instead of a ‘famous’ name mover. I hope I don’t have to move anytime soon, but if I do, I will definately call Jermaine again. I used them again one year ago, and again, a super team.

I hired this moving company to help move us from a 3^rd floor, 1 bedroom apartment into our new townhouse 5 miles north. I have never hired a moving company before, so this was a new experience for me!
Jermaine and Nick called ahead to let us know that they would be arriving between 9 and 10am. They arrived within the stated time frame and were professional in appearance and behavior.
The men handled our belongings with care, making sure that fragile items were wrapped in plastic and/​or furniture padding. I was most concerned about our flat-​screen TV, but I had no cause for concern as they moved it without complication.
Although the total moving time was longer than estimated (4.5 hrs compared to the estimated 3hrs), I was very pleased with the service The Wright Move provided and would definitely use them again.
