The Compounder

I’m very pleased with my experience with The Compounder. I was interested in buying a vitamin product that I had been researching for a while but it wasn’t readily available in any of my local businesses. I went online and found The Compounder’s website where they offered the product I wanted along with more information on its use. I contacted them via email and not only did they respond very quickly but they provided me with different volume price options (which were excellent because I wanted to buy multiple units). The issue with the product I ordered was that it needed to be refrigerated and since we’re in the mid-​end of August it definitely needed special overnight shipping.
When I called to officially place my order (paid by phone), they quickly recognized me from my emails, pulled up my information, answered my product questions, and had already gotten multiple shipping quote-​options for me to choose from. The shipping was expensive, which I had expected, but I ended up going with a quote for $ 29 next-​day delivery. At that time they did tell me that the quoted price might change. When I received the package I was surprised with how well packaged it was; I must admit I was very worried that the shipping process might spoil the product. However, the product was incredibly well packaged with multiple ice packs in a thick foam inner box to conceal from the heat. The shipping ended up being $ 55 instead of the $ 29 but they were nice enough not to charge me the price difference this first time. I’m happy with the product and the personal service of The Compounder. I liked the fact that they added multiple sheets of information on the product I purchased along with my order invoice, and a note stating the shipping price difference for future reference. You get that mom/​pops community type feel with this place and I for one am a fan for places like this.
