History

Established in 2010.

I began shooting portraits in 2008 with an old point and shoot camera. In 2009 my father-​in-​law bought me my first DSLR and by 2010 I had opened my own business, Rice Bowl Photography.

In 2012 I expanded to also offer Wedding and Boudoir photography services, my boudoir work can be seen at www. kristina​-rice​.com.

Business Owner

Growing up in Colorado has made me a lover of layers, flip flops, hoodies and torn up jeans. I love to people watch, details and letting stories come together naturally. I love history, not the classes, but visiting old towns and marveling at how life must have been back then and how amazing we humans are to have evolved and advanced to where we are today. I’m also really good at run on sentences!

I attended Metropolitan State University years ago for my BS in Computer Information Systems, but after working in IT for a few years, I became bored and burnt out. I still didn’t know back then that I would be here today, but everything in my past led me to where I am today, and that’s pretty cool. :)

I enjoy what I do and I’m thankful that I have the opportunity to pursue photography. I’m excited for the future and welcome all the new friends and clients I meet along the way.
