Quality Inn & Suites Denver Airport – Gateway Park

Checked in here because Southwest cancelled it’s flight to John Wayne and this was the hotel provided for. It lives up to its 2* review ratings by fellow Unilocalers.
Shabby carpets, long passages, broken security latch on the door, LOUD air conditioner, alarm clock that switched on at midnight, the list goes on!
Avoid at all costs. Wish I had stayed the night at the airport.

The guy at the desk denied me my wife and 7 month old our room that was prepaid and when my brother called to talk about it, 2 guys ignored the call. Put them on hold for an average of 10 mins when they were doing nothing. Now we walked to the closest hotel .5 miles away) walking with 5 bags and the baby in the car seat. Very disappointed. So we paid for a room that we were denied to stay in because a credit card wasn’t swiped on hand

Southwest Airlines put us up here and all I can say is Worst hotel ever, all you hear is highway noise all night, missing tiles in bathrooms, dirty and disgusting. Holes in the walls and staff is just as gross. AVOID STAYING HERE.

Got in late got checked in quick. Place was a little warm room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy have enough pillows very basic tv package though. Good continental breakfast everything was kept clean.

United put me up here due to airplane delays. Older but clean in appearance and room. They do not believe in air conditioning in the shuttle or hotel. Room air conditioner did not work. I had to open the window with the road noise to sleep. Front Desk clerk said «I will put in a work order.» No apology or anything. I would not recommend this hotel.

This place was the only hotel that had rooms so no choice but to stay here. The night lady was no help. We asked questions and she said she didn’t know. She didn’t tell us about breakfast so I missed it and overall just wasn’t very friendly. The lady in the morning was super nice and let me know I missed breakfast. Luckily I had food from dinner the night before. She told me where I could get plates and I warned up my food. The another lady also was very nice she was cleaning up the kitchen when I was in there that morning. Over all not the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in much worse. Two out of three people were nice and helpful.

Gross smells like smoke and dirty. Should not be called a quality inn. It’s very low quality. I felt dirty after staying there

My husband and I nicknamed this place ‘low quality inn’. I wanted to give it one star but he thought two was more fair. The pool and hot tub were dirty. The fitness room was only cardio machines whose functionality we did not even bother to confirm. The coffee was gross. Upside: we didn’t see any bugs. Though a fellow breakfast eater mentioned seeing mice in his room. :/​won’t be returning. There are way better hotels in Denver for same price.

Not bad — this hotel is 15 minutes from DIA and is the type of place where airlines will put up stranded travelers at discounted rates ($ 69/​night).
The décor and rooms are old and the carpeting has a funky smell. However, I felt my room was OK and found this hotel had some nice features:
1. Free shuttle to and from airport, and they do run early if needed
2. Free wifi
3. A free breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, muffins and gravy, and make-​your-​own waffles. Plus the standard cereal, pastries, and yogurt. The coffee, despite coming from a machine was actually decent — bolder darker roast which I like. Plenty of seating.
4. Friendly check-​in staff.

Very simple review. Do not stay here, staff is nice but place is disgusting. Go across the highway to the clump of hotels there. We took a look at the room and had to leave.

The 1 star vote is a generous vote at best. This is the first time I have given a negative report on a Choice Hotel. The hotel desk staff is lacking in training, and customer service. I was given a wrong statement on check-​in and after I reviewed it and spotted the mistake the woman said she didn’t know how that happened and gave it to the other lady behind the counter to fix. 20 minutes after I arrived at the hotel I, went to a dirty room that smelled of something just not sure what. The next morning the best thing that could’ve happened was there is a Denny’s not far from the hotel. The stuff they serve is hardly palatable. I spotted more than myself spitting the food out in a napkin. On checkout I asked they send my statement to my e-​mail address as I am a diamond level choice privilege member and the e-​mail is handy for sending to my accounting office. I noticed another mistake (surprise, nope not really) and was told that there was no way I could be helped because Laurie, is too busy and the only person at the desk. The only reason I, will go back to this hotel is to correct the last mistake they will ever make with my account.
This hotel is a mistake on your vacation, work or any reason to stay plans.

Dirty. Dirty. Dirty.
Walk in to construction. Nothing pleasant to help. Just bare ripped up concrete. Pillows were terrible. Bed was terrible. Walls were dirty. Exposed plaster in the bathroom. Asked to switch rooms. Other room was EVEN MORE DIRTY. Was treated rudely when asking for more sausage at breakfast. This place is simply TERRIBLE. WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. Booked through
. WARNING… You can stay at a La Quinta for the same price and at least that gives the illusion of clean.

Checking in was fast. Rooms were outdated. Window was broken so it let cold air in and you could hear traffic. Bedspread looked stained in a few spots. The ac unit/​fan sounded like it was going to explode. The free breakfast was the worst I have had. The food smelled old and tasted awful. Even the apple juice was gross. I’m giving it a two star bc the king size bed was decent and the room was a good size or I would have given it a one star.

After a flight snafu, United Airlines booked me at this hotel. They supposedly are an airport hotel but actually like 20 minutes away from the airport. Their «shuttles» run infrequently– only every 45 minutes, and if you are one minute late, even when you have reserved a spot and they knew you are coming, they leave without you! Then you are stuck with an expensive cab…

The airport booked me here because of a flight cancellation. It reminded me of my young college days because I hadn’t stayed in this kind of hotel in a long time. If you like the nostalgia of smoke and vomit aromas in the hallway mixed with aging hotel mildew smells, then this is the place for you.

Got this for $ 50 on Priceline. Listed under airport hotels, but south of I70.

The hotel itself was not bad, however the noise level between rooms is a deal breaker. I can never stay here again. It is also 12 miles or so away from the airport. If you are just traveling down I70, very accessible.

I was initially worried as this was my first time booking a hotel through Priceline.
We arrived and was quickly checked in, but our room needed to have repairs. The girl at the front desk quickly adjusted for this, but the second room we were given was occupied.
Out of concern for our stay, we were bumped up to a suite, with a whirlpool tub.
While the décor of the hotel may seem a bit dated, for the price we paid and the reason for our stay, I am impressed.
Thank you to the girl at the front desk for being so accommodating.

I would never pick this hotel on my own. I was trying to win a bid on Priceline at a different aiport hotel and got stuck at this one.
Location is close to the airport and a gas station. Denny’s and McDonald’s are right down the street. A bunch of other fast food places are very close to the hotel.
Random observations:
–The hotel itself looks like it is stuck in the 80s. Furniture is very outdated.
–Elevators are ridiculously slow.
–Water pressure in the shower was great.
–Staff was super cheerful and helpful.
I was only at the hotel for a quick daytrip so barely spent any time in the room besides sleeping.
I don’t think I would ever voluntarily come back to this hotel.
