My BF and I just relocated to Colorado and made the trek across Denver in search of furniture. We hit up the usual run of the mill furniture places (i.e. big blue store BORING!). In our 150 mile venture we ran across Pickers Paradise. Ruben greeted us as we walked in, said have a look everything is negotiable. Lucky for us I drove past the building and had to circle around the block which placed me right outside the side window and a lovely mid-​century dresser. It was a bright spot on a cold and rainy day and turned out to be the best piece purchased all day. We live in Golden but will certainly take a trip over there every so often to peruse the offerings.

Pickers Paradise is a great little find. The store is larger than it looks, with a great variety of furniture and home goods, old and new. If you’re looking for something to spice up your room or a fun DIY project, head over. Rubin, the owner, is incredibly kind and helpful. I bought a small table to repaint and though it was not heavy at all, he insisted on helping me carry it out to my car. In addition, he referred me to several other shops in the Denver area and said to drop his name when there. Lastly, the prices are really reasonable. Do be aware that it is cash only in case you don’t usually carry any. I’ll be back soon for my next project!

Picker’s Paradise is a treasure! We had just renovated our bathroom and my wife was looking for an old wire basket to hang on the wall. We had been looking for 2 months for just the right basket to no avail. We stopped in to Picker’s Paradise today to look at a chaise glider that was sitting in the front window and sitting right beside it was THE basket we had been looking for! We could finally complete our bathroom project! Although we didn’t get the chaise glider we did walk out with the basket and 2 patio chairs. This place is a great find and the owner, Ruben, is always a pleasure to deal with. You MUST check this place out!

I had a chance to go in again and as usual had a great experience at pickers paradise with Reuben. I got an excellent quality couch that would’ve been much more expensive brand-​new that’s an excellent shape. It fits perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. I think it looks awesome in my new flat! I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in redecorating!

Had a great experience working with Reuben and his son. Left with 3 rodiron barstools and a file cabinet for a great price. They have an awesome selection of unique furniture, home décor, books and records. Also a very comfortable environment to explore it all!

This is a great spot that I almost don’t want to share :) There’s consistently new furniture throughout. If you don’t find something one week, come back in a couple weeks and you’ll find all new stuff. The guys running the shop are extremely helpful and courteous. I’ve bought multiple items from them, and I return any time I’m in search of something new. It’s the kind of shop you want to support.

I had my 4^th visit to Pickers Paradise yesterday and came out with my car loaded up! I was going in to buy just 1 big piece that is perfect for organizing all my craft items in my loft.
Within minutes I was calling for the owner, Rueben, to start my pile! I have attached just one piece I got and will return to show the rest of my haul!
This picture is big and is in a beautiful wood frame and is matted and has the glass. If I had gone to any of the local stores then the framing/​mat/​glass alone would have been over $ 500.00 and possibly more. The entire piece was $ 45.00!
The guest room was the intent for this but now my master bedroom got the prize! My bedroom is big and I needed a big piece. Perfection!

Love this place and the shop owners, Rubin and Kerwin. Great selection of slightly used Furniture and Accessories. The showroom is always changing and filled with an eclectic mix. Easy to park, shop and pic.

Picker ’ s Paradise is great! Mr. Ruben has nice furniture and fair prices. We got a lovely mid-​century modern easy chair and ottoman for less than $ 100! Hopefully he will have a couch for us in near future.

Reuben, the owner and his son were incredible help! Moving to Denver first of month and had tons of unique pieces to choose from. Understood our situation and will hold our stuff till our move in date after we purchased at great price! Definitely recommended this gem if you are looking for great customer service and one of a kind finds!

We love this place. Not only are the owners, a father-​son duo, incredibly friendly and easy to bargain with, but the furniture is an amazing combination of modern pieces with an eclectic feel. Great prices and great inventory! Will be back!

Wish we had found this place sooner! So much great stuff, best deals around by far, and Rueben is awesome! If he doesn’t have it, he’ll help you track it down. Tara does some painting and restoring for them too, if you’re lazy like me and don’t want to do it yourself. Even with buying the paint and paying for her time and labor, you can’t beat the prices! Can’t wait to see how our dresser turns out.
Update: Dresser looks amazing! Thanks to Rueben and his crew. They took the time to make it look great! So happy we found this place. It will be our first stop from now on!

I moved to Denver from Philadelphia and had no furniture. Had to shop around to many different places since I was on a serious budget and didn’t want to just go to IKEA. Lots of vintage/​used furniture is way too expensive in this city, but this place… They’ve got it all. If you want to find the best bang for your buck or you just want to re-​furbish something, this is the place to find it.
I almost don’t want to tell you guys how good it is because I want to keep it all for myself.
The service there is great too, the guys in there are so helpful and caring. 5 Stars from me.

It’s 5:45 and the doors are locked? Sign on door says they close at 6? Glad I rushed over after work… but I gave 2 stars because the furniture in the window does look cute.

Very thrifty store! Great for furniture from vintage to modern. We purchased throw pillows that were from a model home, brand new and we saved $$. Outdoor furniture, mirrors and art, fun collection! Decent record collection too.
Local father and son owned shop, they have a funky taste, smooth vibe, and offered us a great deal. We’ll be back from time to time to see what’s new.

This place has so many excellent pieces, and I’d give it any easy four stars… But Rubin took it to the next level with his knowledge of the antiquing scene of the Denver metro area, and his knowledge of the surrounding community.
Plus, his selection was full of practical, yet reasonable pieces that stand out with great color or unique wood finishing. This is definitely a place to visit every pay day, as things go fast!

Found this gem and checked them out since they had so many good reviews. What a great experience! I was looking for a dresser and this place had a bunch of options. They have something for pretty much any budget. Corey next door can paint/​refresh an older piece so it can be personalized for what you are looking for. I found a vintage piece that was $ 85 and Corey could paint it for approx $ 150 ($ 200 if the piece needs more work or has tons of details) so for approx $ 250, I can have a dresser customized for me. Great deal considering new pieces can range from $ 500 to over a thousand. They also can deliver if you are in the area (perk!).
You can also tell Ruben (the owner) what you are looking for and they’ll send you photos when new things come in. And I think they get new pieces constantly.
Speaking of Ruben, he is awesome. His prices are reasonable and he’s open for friendly negotiations. Plus he’s super helpful. This is the kind of place that makes me feel good to spend money here. Glad I found this place.
